Had the province funded maintenance properly, the building would still be in good repair. They choked The Ontario Science Centre for years and then decide to close it down and sell the land to condo developers to make billions. Doug Ford PC government capitalizing and contributing to the closure of a major Ontario landmark, place of learning for an underprivileged area, and a wonderful family day trip destination. I'm heartbroken they're closing it down instead of repairing it. It's effing ridiculous.

Aldi have electronic price makers. Literally watched the price change on so e strawberries just after I'd put them in the trolley. Not sure you'd be too happy if someone was waiting at the checkout with a sticker gun too up prices as your shopping was being put on the conveyer. Be well

I've had Paramount plus for like 3 years now, but with them canceling two great star trek shows, along with the price hikes, I'm done. Heck, I was done come the third year because of the massive price hike of forcing me to get max or whatever crap they bundled with the ad free plan, but when I went to cancel they offered 50% off and I took it.

I rarely return, I always feel bad returning even when its justified. I guess there is a stigma involved with returning stuff. If its defective, or if the product page blatantly lied than I return. I generally keep products I didn't like as I feel that's my fault. I find returning stuff a hassle on Amazon, mainly due to no printer for shipping label, and them always insisting on it being returned via UPS with the closest UPS store being 24 miles away. We have a small drop box in the front of town* but nothing larger than a VHS thick envelope will fit in it.

We already have the price tags they're speaking of at aprox 19 min. Walmart doesn't seem to use them this way but we could be an alpha market. What seems to happen a lot is the screen gets broken. As well as quite a few things end up with no price label. This annoys me as I have found after trial and error that it's the cheapest of the products without the label as well as the random high priced item. Never the named brand.

Hybrids are actually worse because you will have a Electronics system and a combustion system to maintain. This is the case here in Australia, lots of hybrids are just not operational anymore due to part shortage and cost. Now with EV at least you only need to worry about 1 system of failure, and electrical has much lower failure rate then mechanical. (however could be more expensive to repair outside of warranty for sure) PS. I'm not a EV fan. Mostly not a fan of anything using Lithium or Cobalt, but seems those sorts of batteries for vehicles will be soon gone.

Redbox is kinda screwed over by companies like Disney trying to lock them out of buying discs or digital codes or anything else. And Jeff Geerling has a GREAT pair of videos on self-hosting your own media and fighting against the notion that you will own nothing and be happy. I use alexa to turn on a corner light that's hard to reach - it works fine as a glorified clapper. It's still terrible at answering anything but the most basic questions. There is no way I'm paying for some kind of upgrade to it - hopefully they give up and roll the upgrade you were talking about into prime eventually...

My Mother-in-Law uses our echo on the daily for the lights. I use it on the odd occasion I am cooking and want to hear my "daily briefing". Other than this it's kinda just there for the extremely rare use of playing music and alerting us every day that it's gonna be hot, we live in Texas Edit: Alexa's voice sounds a bit more organic as of late, maybe it's just me?

Hybrid is also the worst of both worlds. You get the weight of both systems, the maintenance of both systems which includes still needing to do oil changes, and the complexity that comes from combustion engines. Much better to go full EV and then rent a gas car the few times you'll be driving long distance.

I ordered a lamp name brand one and was so garbage it bend when i trayed to install it . When i tryed to fastened the leets it broke 😢. It was 80 euro if i was in a store show the quality didn't buy this crap for 5 euro .
