UX is good for city, RX450h is much better and comfortable for long crusing. Generally RX is safer, faster, has reliable V6. I tested both and decided to go with RX excellence, F-sport version seat is too stiff and somehow felt not comfortable in......and as per infotainment system - I needed 1 week to get used to that, the trick is to set low sensitivity of the pointer/touchpad. Anna, I am still waiting for your review of RX450h (excellence/top model) ;)

Anne you are very lucky. Drive so many beautiful cars in Swiss alps. Have you driven a Mazda my-5 Miata. You you drive it. It is a very cute and fun car to drive on twist road.

Thanks for a great video. I thought it was not good with 3 colors of the decor. Brown seats and armrests, gray-white ceiling then black on the door sides of the dashboard as well as the posts it became awful in my opinion. Garmony was then missing so the upper part of the door sides and the dashboard were plastic. But your dress was beautiful and beautiful blue.

The same thing I think. Good that the seats are nice, but it was only 100 kilometers. Which I don't think is far enough to really feel. It would be that you drove 350 kilometers then you know more. I drove a VW Passat 18 years ago and then I drove 800 kilometers in one day, then they felt that they were the worst seats to sit in and especially when you are tall. 185 cm

@@ingvartorma9789 Hi Ingvar, actually we drove from Lausanne to Chamonix then to Milano but not straight, there were so sightseeing detours so all in all, about 450 km in a day. And yes, the seats were absolutely lovely to look at before and after the journey

i own a RX450H and all i can tell you is that these 4cyl. feel much overstressed on our Autobahn !! every shit small hatch back is faster in acceleration and speed. My RX witgh ist V6Hybrid is the only way to go , imho !

Now thats what call a road trip in a day. It must be great to drive from France to Italy and go through Switzerland and get to see all those views whose driving a Lexus. Mind you I think I would have a Mild panic attack driving down that road with the cars going up the road, it looked a very tight road. My space awareness is not what it once was. Very nice video. Very hard to match the quality of a Lexus. There are extremely well built. And yes I am a fool for brown interiors too! As for SUVs... for me they stand for «Silly Useless &Vain» :)

lexus has two weaknesses for which is not worth of my money: 1. packaging: I've got a car of pretty much the same size as UX, but with much much more space for passengers as well as a bigger booth 2. infotainment: this is pain in the crack for ages and lags massively behind mb/bmw/audi. they really should do something radical about it (i've heard they are working on new infotainment, but no more details about it). luckily, the video presenter here, even being blonde, has no apparent weaknesses of such kind 😉

Hi Car Mojo, thank you :-) Well, I think it would have been a never-ending story if we started to compare cars based on space. But yes, infotainment system isn't the greatest, but then again, not many if any can beat Lexus on quality of the cabin

@@AnnaOnRoads Hi Anna. I like Lexus - style, quality, reliability... it's all great. But why can't they make adequate ( = premium) infotainment? It seems their system is made by inferior developers who also create UX (User eXperience). Can't both Lexus and Toyota hire skilled professional UX designers? And as for space, for example, RX450hL is a joke. Lexus has to build modified chassis to offer a 7-seater. They had to add 11cm into its already long RX to be able to mount 3rd row which is still not very usable and killing space in the 2nd row. XC90 is shorter than RXhL, but has more space even for 3rd row - which is an option, no need to build two versions of the same car. It seems Lexus engineers left their brains at home, when they worked on RX. Many of Lexus models offer less interior space than their respective rivals. And space matters because cars get bigger but space in our cities doesn't inflate. Thanks for you time. Good night :)
