It should be scrutinised, but the questions were answered well.

I'd want a list of who went there, cos I bet shitloads of not so important hangers on were taken there to.

People who say 'uh' that much should not be paid that much.

A taxpayer funded time share overseas accommodation for elite athletes.

which is all in order.... most of your athletes are already living in europe so why take a 1 day flight back to Australia just for practice then another 1 day flight back to europe for a game, still need time to recover from those flight, you wont do a game directly after that travel, that goes for "games" in other parts of the world too...

The European AIS facility is totally necessary for elite athletes. To compete at an elite level within Australia is a very expensive task. It costs a couple of hundred dollars in petrol and takes around at least 8 hours to drive from capital to capital, or it costs hundreds more to fly, hire a car, pay for accommodation and compete. This needs to be done on a regular basis to get good enough to break into a national team, THEN things get really expensive when you start competing overseas. Compare that with Europe, where you can jump in a car, drive for 30 minutes and attend an international competition. Having a European training center is essential for Australian athletes.

2.7 Million so they can "save money on transporting their row boat" and to acclimatise for indoor sports...
