The lighting in the before and after photos is radically different. The before looks like natural light, and after looks like studio light. Lighting alone could account for the different appearance. Would love to see an after photo under the same lighting, or at least as similar as possible.

I used to use tamanu oil a few years back and its definitely a good oil for getting rid of scars. Smells weird but definitely works. I'm actually going to pick it up again because I stopped using it.

so i just bought tamanu oil (amazon) and ill update you day 1 of use: my acne scars have very slightly lost redness :O day 2: redness is still fading a teeny bit day 3: redness still fading day 4: still fading redness day 5: purply color is starting to lighten!!! day 6: no difference(?) day 7: purple is lighter day 8: lighter day 9: eh same day 10: light but still noticeable day 11: same day 12: back to ver very light pink day 13: same day 14: same day 15: ITS GONE!!!!!

rosario fabrini I use it alone usually after serum because sometimes I even use it AS a moisturizer. i only need 3 drops, put it on both palms and pat it gently on my face and neck. pat repeatedly until it's absorbed and feels silky, not oily. if it feels heavy/oily or uncomfortable, it means we're using too much, because rosehip oil is really light and dry 😄

For any who are curious how this effects people with darker complexions, this stuff is actually working. I stopped using it because I applied it to my nose and I got a pimple there after a long time suddenly. One day I was just tired of my right cheek having hyper pigmentation and so i used exfoliaters and tried the oil again. When I tell you I saw results within the week! Maybe it was that my moisturizer wasn't moisturizing me enough? Either way this thing boasts skin recovery benefits and my skin is healing well. I recommend trying it for yourself.

at first i broke out THRICE when i used this, but once i used it properly oh boy! my skin has never been this supple and clear. It’s like baby skin! I would use three drops for my entire face, break out, stop, and then try again. I was using it incorrectly lmao. I use maybe half a drop? i put it on the back of my hand first and warm it up using my ring finger then pick up some and start tapping it all over my face, it should NOT feel oily and just feel like you have a thin moisturizer on! As someone who is suffering with sensitive, oily and acne prone skin, adding up with adult acne and now maskne, tamanu oil have been like a miracle! Hi Liah! I enjoy your video SO MUCH. Been staying on your channel since I can't exactly remember when lol. I've been living with acne for the past 2 years since August 2015. Before I only had acne whenever I was about to have my period and The acne wasn't bad at all and the scar faded so fast. Okay back to my pretty severe acne phase. So for the last 2 years I've been trying pretty much everything to fight my acne. Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, dermatologist treatment, but none work well on me. Then you finally post the video about how you fight acne with less products being used and it works really well! I can tell the difference in less than a week and that's crazy! I'm so happy! I just used hydrating toner from Hada Labo Gokujyun series (well anyone can use other brands. I use it bcs that's what I have. I still can't afford any toner bcs most of them are pretty pricey for me since I'm just a uni student with limited income😂) and grape seed oil. Yup, just the two of them. You might use other oils. I use grape seed oil bcs I haven't finish using them and it's one of the oils for those with oily or acne prone skin like me. For the acne scar, I use oat, rice, turmeric, honey, green tea and plain yogurt as face mask (no, I don't mix them all. I just mix some ingredients as I wish. You can find the receipt on the internet). I've been using these natural ingredients for face-masking for almost 3 years, even before I got a lot of acnes. And start to drink green tea daily. I drink it only once a day and it helps me fight the acne as well. I can say that the minimal skin care and green tea help me fight my acne bcs I see change on my face. Lately I ate a lot of dairy products (huge amount of milk and chocolate) that are used to break me out sooo bad in a blink of an eye, but I don't see any new acne grows. That's magic lol. This is such a very long comment I know, I'm sorry😂 I hope this help everyone dealing with acne. And thank you so much Liah for sharing! You help me a lottt. My skin is dehydrated, oily and acne prone but since stopping any skin care has calmed down a bit, only leaving clogged pores all over my face. Then I found you! So I have been using rosehip oil since I started watching your videos (a couple months or so). At first, I thought I was breaking out, but in fact it was my skin purging! My mom thought the oil was bad for my skin but I stick to the plan, I've been riddled with acne before and I ain't scared now. Then I alternate my night routine with Cosrx BHA power liquid (the whole retinol vs BHA, as you said) and my skin has improved so much! My pores are cleaner and my skin looks brighter! Hormonal acne still pops out but nothing I can't tackle! Sorry for the wall of text but I can't thank you enough 😘 I've been recommending you to my sister and your advice works on her too!

You are my skin god-mother. Really. I was 14 and i had bad blackhead problem, not a single pimple but million acne. So i watched and read some reviews about how BHA works so well for Blackheads. So i bought Cosrx BHA and used it. It made my pores bigger and more blackheads appeared for some unknown reason but i believed- it's going to work after few months of continuous use. It didn't. So i used scrub along it. It got worse. Then i saw your videos and i realised what works for others will not necessarily work for you. Now, i just focus on hydration. It is doing wonders. Thanks.

hello liah..i’m bella, i’ve been subscribing your channel since last year i guess..it’s all because i really want to get rid of my acne scars (fyi my skin is oily-acne prone and it gets a hormonal acne every month so its pretty frustating i mean the aftermath which is its scars ) i found ur channel and i tried ur suggestion and it worked on me!! i’m soo happy...my skin is a lot clearer thanks so much🙏🏻 anyways, my mom is on her mid 40s, and as she gets older she had this dark spot almost all over her face especially on her cheeks and forehead..she has been using laneige white dew it doesn’t clear up her dark spot it only makes her skin a lot brighter which is actually good but all she really wants is to get rid of her darkspot. she told me that my skin is a lot better and i dont have any acne scars left on my face since i used aha bha from cosrx as my skincare routine, so my mom is curious is it ok for her to use it so that she could clear up her dark spot.. but i dunno is it ok or not. so my question is.. is it ok to use aha bha as skincare routine to get rid of darkspot? i mean is it useful? or do you have any suggestions? i really really hope you will answer my question bcs i really like your way of explaining things.. anyways im sorry if its too long but i wish that i could read your answers soon. thank you so much liah, god bless you always! love from Indonesia xoxo💕

girl ive been trying to fade PIH for weeks, finally gave it a shot and the pigmentation was gone in days. I had tried vitamin c powder from the ordinary, niacinamide 10%, azelaic acid 10% and nothing was more effective and quicker than tamanu oil. I dont know what it is but its working wonderfully. I used to be very skeptical of this product but now im totally in love

I'm a big fan of yours and of Krave's (use several of your products). I saw this video about a year ago and remembered what you said about wound healing. My Grandma started struggling with bedsores recently. We have the exact same skin type and I watch every one of your videos. About a month ago I stopped using a cleanser (but follow up with the rest of my steps) in the morning and incorporated hemp seed oil at night because you had said these worked for you. I'm so glad to say these worked WONDERS for me too! I no longer get as oily throughout the day, only get the occasional hormonal pimple, and my face feels so soft and I just look overall more glowing. I still have some acne scars and I'm definitely going to also try the tamanu oil. Thank you so much for your videos, my skin is all the better for it :)

Tamanu oil changed my skin LIFE! If I squeeze a pimple (I know, I’m not supposed to) I put Tamanu oil- faded by morning. My acnes way down and manageable so far and it does WONDERS on active scars. Have only used maybe 2 weeks so not sure about long term scars yet, but I’ve even had comments that my skins looking better ! WOWZA. Grape seed and rosehip didn’t even do that for me

I infact did read on a few sites what I wrote below, but that was a few years ago when I first started using Tamanu oil. Tamanu oil is not a essential oil, it's a carrier oil and I do not believe it is likely to be irritating. Just goes to show you that you always need to do research! Maybe some studies were updated? Or maybe they were just bad websites. But at least now I know, thanks to the person who let me know! I'll still mix it with Jojoba oil because it is pretty thick, but much less now!! -------------------------------------------------------------------- I've read that Tamanu oil is an essential oil and you MUST mix Tamanu oil with a carrier oil. I use Jojoba and spread all over my face. Tamanu oil can be very irritating, maybe right now if you apply it by itself it's fine but over time your skin may have a bad reaction. Mix it with a carrier oil! And you still get the benefits

I bought the tamanu oil before I found this video but didn't like the texture. After watching this, I gave it another chance. I tried it with a mix so it's more comfortable for me. It works wonders! My skin is looking much better and the hyperpigmentation faded a lot! I think it works slower because of the mix but it's helps it get absorbed so much faster. It's a regular fixture in my skincare now!

I saw this video 3months ago and I bought the tamanu oil a few days later and I swear my skin has never looked better. I have had very problematic skin especially because of the acne scars. And after using this oil for a while not only that I noticed a huge improvement in my scars but also the overall texture of my skin, I get a pimple only here and there now... I only use the oil at night, I put quite a big amount of it on my skin as a last step in my skincare routine. I also use suncreen EVERY DAY (La roche posay) and a simple Biore Charcoal cleanser. I know you say you don’t guarantee results but damn girl you’re safe to say you can guarantee it! I saw this video 6 months ago when I had to unfortunately use hydroquinone cream, the irritation bothered me for months, using tamanu oil not only healed the irritation but it amped up the fading of my pigmentation TENFOLD 🙌🏼 now that my pigmentation is gone I only use Tamanu oil & vitamin C & niacinmide for prevention 😊

Be careful when using the tamanu oil especially those who are allergic to nuts (I don't have any nut allergies like I can eat peanuts, almonds, cashews, etc). I would recommend maybe add tamanu oil in your moisturizer instead of applying it directly on to your face like I did. Last summer, I used tamanu oil alone and my whole entire face had an allergic reaction. I had a hive breakout and I had to take antihistamine medication to stop the hives from spreading to my neck and my body. This happened 3 or 4 times and those times, I used tamanu oil. The reason I used tamanu is because I have a lot of acne scars and hyperpigmentation that I wished to get rid of. And I think I used tamanu oil for a month and didn't see any result and how I kept getting hives so I stopped using it...

I started using Tamanu oil. And WOW!!! It is much heavier than olive or coconut.. But I can't believe how smooth and bump free my skin is now.. and it's only been 4 days!! I apply it all over the face at night and just wash off with water in the morning.. and it keeps my skin smooth, acne free and even toned! My face is 50 percent less oily now too!! (BTW, I used to struggle with acne, whiteheads, hyperpigmentation and suuuper duupper oily skin)

I've ordered a couple bottles from 2 different retailers. I want to love this oil so much, but I can't get past the smell of it! It seriously nauseated me. I actually thought I got a bad bottle, because it was a very dark green, and had a super powerful smell! So, I ordered from a different company, and it's the same. Can anyone relate?? I even bought the cinco oil you recommended, and it's fabulous!!!! There is also tamanu oil in it, even though it's one of the last ingredients, I still can not handle the odor. And even after it absorbs, the smell is still present. Ugh.

@@summer.days1105Hi...Although tamanu oil is heavy but it gets absorbed quite well on my skin, which is on a drier side on my cheek area. So when I started I used to apply it in the evening and wash it out with a cleanser 3-4 hours after application and then follow up my nightime routine. But now I've stopped washing it since winters are approaching here and my skin is getting much drier. It gets completely absorbed and I just water cleanse it now. Personally, I find this approach much better.

But given the thing that they're so old and are like incredibly blended all over my skin, I think it would take around 3-4 months to completely go away.
