I don't think yall need to be comparing who beat who on Mona Lisa. It was a story track. Kendrick basically just played the other side. They complimented each other well. Of course Lil Wayne's part was better because he was the star of the STORY

As a HUGE Wayne fan I loved the idea of 23 tracks because we haven’t gotten a REAL Wayne project since 2013 with “I am not a human being 2” and I would’ve been HIGHLY UPSET if I got 12-13 songs because it’s like I know you recorded soooo much music over the past 5 years and 13 songs is underwhelming I’m tryna hear as much of it as possible, if that makes any sense

jspears19 the second half of Carter II (I see it as starting with the title track) was very artsy. Not to knock C3, Dr. Carter, Misunderstood and Mr. Carter were the only tracks off 3 that I really see as being artistic beyond just having a concept and I don't think the artistic weight of those carry it over tracks like Shooter, Hustler Musik, Receipt, Feel Me, Get Over and Fly Out so I disagree. However C3 is more sonically consistent in quality

Much respect for wayne to have his mom on the album bcuz it is special but damn. i had to pause for a good min before i started Dont Cry....Shit the album would be even worse to start off with Dont Cry. You guys are right and common sense is that he should of came out swinging with BARS!!!

The intro should’ve been let it fly. Those opening bars from Wayne’s verse are perfect as an intro.

They don't fuck with Mac's music at all, besides Feefo, and they said outta respect for him, they don't wanna clown it.. maybe Feefo should do a solo

DocM it would still be cool if they went in with an open mind and reviewed SWIMMING because mac is good at giving different sounds for different projects and they would probably be surprised at the quality of his album

@@Chrisratata he's clearly a newer viewer. Although sometimes in the past kinge used to go down the tracklist so everything got hit but that's definitely for shorter albums.
