Linda (Ronstadt) like Donna (Summer), seem to be under appreciated in modern pop culture, as the great vocalists they really were. Both ladies covered multiple genres in their careers. It's great that you listen to live version of the song. When you are next doing a Donna selection, may I suggest that you do "If There is Music There", from her 1999 VH1 special Live and More Encore. It's a great song (written for the musical Ordinary Girl - which was about Donna's life), and I think it's one that you both might listen to for the first time together.
