Welcome to the Resistance Stretching series. These are dynamic stretching based workouts with sculpting and energizing exercises to invigorate, yet relax the entire body. You will see advanced stretching and unique combination moves to challenge your mind and body. Lengthen and strengthen for a long, lean physique.
In Resistance Stretching Sculpt you will start with a standing section of squats to releve going from more shallow to really deep, then add knee taps. Next stay in a deep squat and do in and out knees and turn out fold overs. Then a kneeling oblique series with one leg extended and all different angled upper body crunches. Move into some deep stretches before doing the other side. Next a plank squat series with knee kisses. A deep lower body stretch sequence, then dolphin and down dog push ups. A staggered down dog to push up to cobra series. Next child's pose hip circles, then a straddle series with oblique engagement. Some deep glute stretches, then a plank walk and hip dip series. Finally a standing warrior lunge stretch series and a lying quad stretch.

I agree with Lajulienne below: this left me speechless (after a good amount of 'oh my gosh! oh my goodness!'). I have never seen many of these moves before. They were incredibly challenging, but not impossible. I feel very accomplished, as well as lots of burn AND stretch. Thank-you so much!!!

Thank goodness for this stretching workout!! I was so sore and tight from yesterday’s torch and tone weights and this was a perfect follow-up for the lower body! I had a little switcharoo with the workouts this week by taking my rest day early, but it ended up working out for the best. Thank you for another amazing active stretch workout, Linda! Day 21 complete! ☺️

I'm done with this one and it was PERFECTLY PERFECT! It definitely wasn't super easy especially for the quads but was ideal for an easier day and I am feeling ssssoooo nice and stretched 😁. Thank you, Linda for this absolutely awesome workout!

Amazing workouts Linda thank you. Some of the moves took me back to my long ago rhythmic gymnastic days, and I could channel my artistic side.😀. Love these fusion workouts, your creativity is fantastic xx

Wow, this was amazing! I’ve never done a 45 minute intense stretch like this but it felt really good and at the end of the day. Funny that Mini ended the class where she started! 🙂

This was amazing. I feel like my hamstrings are not stretch all round. Some stretches were challenging even though I can set my palms down on the floor while in standing forward fold. Lateral hamstring and inner thigh are very tight.That is so odd.

@@barlatesbodyblitz Is it normal to feel something like electric shocks in my thigh and groin muscles sometimes when I do the straddle? Have you ever experienced that?

@barlatesbodyblitz Yes, I figured out it was weak obturator internus. Got to strengthen and stretch it. I also tried lateral hamstrings stretch. Lol

Okay, I'm so obsessed with this workout. I'm going to do it again this weekend! I hope there will be more like this with sculpting, difficulty level and stretching. I really love this style and loved everything about this workout. By the way, yesterday I tried the 47 min Buti Yoga workout on KZbin after my normal workout with you just to see if I'd want to do them for bonus workouts to work on flexibility. I thought it was fun, but easy. I liked the squats in it. This workout had the same concept but was MUCH better- I feel more stretched out, I was challenged more and I had a better time. I would rather just do this one every week 😂 Thank you so much!!

ha ha, yes I have been inspired by the Buti workouts, but have picked some of the most difficult moves and created new combinations that are more challenging and with more reps. I'm glad you liked it. There will be 2 more in the series, and at the moment I am really liking these fusion workouts so I might do another similar series soon 😄

I’ve tried the first one from the series and for me it seemed perfect for an active rest day 👌. Gonna have an active rest day tomorrow and this one is one my workout list.

yes you can use it for active recovery. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but because I know the workouts you do I am sure it will be fine. There is definitely a big quad burn in this though 😄

Hi Linda would this work out be good for sore shoulders and back think I pulled something or have tight muscles or is there one you'd recommend to loosen out tight areas I don't want to stop doing them but don't want to make it worse either ta ta Kate

It's hard to say because i don't know how bad it is. You can just try it and see how the exercises feel, otherwise something more gentle like the warm and stretch upper workout might be better?

Thanks Linda which workout one is thga I did a dynamic stretch one and it seems a bit looser today when I was doing the arm stretch at the end where you put one arm under and face the ground it felt like something was put of place around my shoulder blade and its sore in there on right side ill try those stretch ones and see how I go was really enjoying the combo and more intense workouts but will have to ease off for now until it settles

yes, some stretches you have to be careful with if you are prone to pulling muscles. I have pulled a muscle before doing deep yoga stretches. You just have to learn to listen to your body and not overdo it.
