Welcome to the Resistance Stretching series. These are dynamic stretching based workouts with sculpting and energizing exercises to invigorate, yet relax the entire body. You will see advanced stretching and unique combination moves to challenge your mind and body. Lengthen and strengthen for a long, lean physique.
In Resistance Stretching Active you will start with a ragdoll swing and stretch to warm up, then move to a bent over tuck heel lift combination, add some knee raises in various directions, then arm circles and pushes. Next some wide plie squats with a tough oblique arm reach series, then an Asian squat with hamstring stretch sequence and more arm combinations as well as deeper shoulder stretches. Then a hamstring stretch and a wide straddle stretch sequence. Next a cardio burst with bounces and taps. Then a all fours, large range of motion set and a down do to pigeon combination. Then another dynamic arm sequence followed by deep shoulder and quad stretches. Next a laying lower body stretch series, a fun seated abs segment and finally a glute bridge stretch.

Done! Hitting 1 year today of working out with you, Linda! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Can’t believe it’s been a year yet 😀. Celebrating it by doing this totally awesome workout! This was exactly what I needed today. I was so sore from the past couple of days workouts, so I was hoping for a little ease. Although this wasn’t easy (I was still quite sweaty), it worked all of my sore areas and the stretching portions were heavenly 😍 Thank you for another productive and challenging workout. This was perfect! Day 11 complete! 💪🏽💖

This was such a pleasure in a stretch way. Linda if you could add 2-5 seconds of stretchs in your regular workouts, that would have been even better. For example once we move to down dog section, instead we directly start the exercise we could do a downward dog streach for couple of seconds and then start the actual exercise. This is just an idea. Thank you 💋

I am REALLY enjoying this series! I did the first two again this week as well. I've been trying to do your stretching routines to help work on my flexibility and it has improved much more quickly than I anticipated! For me, due to a health issue that I refuse to let interfere with my workouts, I find it really important that I not only maintain flexibility, but increase it. So I am very grateful to you! Omg that shoulder stretch was amazing!! I loved this entire workout. Watch me do all three again next week lol!! I hope in the future you will do more like this or add in stretching elements like you have in this. SO SO fun!!

yes, as I am getting older I am seeing the benefits of stretching like this more and more. It is surprisingly tough holding some of those stretches. I feel like it is static sculpting at the same time. The shoulder stretch is one of my fav. I will definitely be incorporating more workouts like this 😃

Unfortunately I only got to finish 20mins of this today (had to get ready for work.. ugh) but I will say it was tough BUT when I go to the straddle splits side bend my side bend was further then ever (overheard arm could touch toes) and usually warming up for that takes way longer... hope to finish the whole session soon... baby steps after an injury...
