Mike and Chester are such humble guys, whom you can tell don't take anything for granted (unlike so many celebrities today). You can tell they're still those kids of the late 90s and early 2000s at heart - all that's changed is their appearance and age. There really aren't a lot of people like Shinoda and Bennington, and everyone else in the band as well. Such a unique and lovable group of people...

That moment when Chester is talking about the time they became succesfull and he had family problems mixed with stuff from his childhood, you can see how concerned about him Mike looks. I'm pretty sure was remembering that time and how difficult it was for all of them... And then at 17:38 Chester mention "So the band came and helped me out" and you can see that small but honest smile on Mike's face. It's exactly the little, simple things like that what shows the friendship between them the most. I love it.

In the last interview with Chester (before he passed), there's a moment where Chester talks about his depression, and Mike does the same thing. And throughout the interview, Mike is constantly trying to - sort of - "save" Chester from that topic, but Chaz keeps diving back into it. Mike has always been such a Mama Bear when it comes to C. He wanted to love and protect Chester from all sorts of things. Honestly, Mike is such a wonderful human being. He is the best role model - and exactly everything Chester could have ever needed in a best friend. And, of course, the rest of the LP family were incredible with him, too. But, I just always loved how much Mike paid attention - and how aware he was - of Chester's mental health / state. It's something that you can see throughout the years, in any interview, whenever such dangerous topics are brought up. It's genuinely so sweet to see how much Mike cared.

I feel like Chester Bennington is not straight does anyone notice that the way he talks is kinda soft it gives me a hint that he’s not Straight, that’s probably the main source of his depression, cuz he’s tired of hiding his true sexual orientation from the public, that’s just my observation and guess. *chill the heck out before u cuss me out!!!*

July 20th and August 20th are the hardest days for me. Two people I looked up to past away on those days. July 20th chesters life ended and August 20th my dad's life ended. Strangely back on August 19th, 2014 I finally met chester bennington at Jones Beach New York. I shook his hand as he sang one step closer. If you haven't seen video of that night go look it up. Chester did the ice bucket challenge with his kids on stage. Chester and the band had no clue how important that night was. The next morning my mom told me my dad lost his battle with cancer. I miss both of them and I won't ever forget them.

I've been a LP fan for around 6 years now. Started when I was 13. I remember just watching their interviews trying to get to sleep because, it sounds cliche at that age, but I was very suicidl. Couldn't sleep. Had no emotions but sadness. Been diagnosed with PTSD from my childhood. Linkin Park kept me going. They kept me powering through and I'm determined to live my best life and make Chester proud. And I'm legit gonna go book myself in for another Chester tattoo tomorrow because I feel low again and I want a reminder of him and to keep going.

After 20 years, it really feels like losing a good friend. I was 13/14 when Hybrid Theory appeared in Germany. With Linkin Park, times became wild 😅 Even though it was difficult at home, Chester was with you. And you’ve felt better because you’ve heard in the lyrics but especially in his voice: you are not alone. It's ridiculous how much I freakin’ miss him. I've never had problems with depression or anything like that. But now my heart is so heavy that I can feel it.. never felt this before. A piece of it went with him. Until we rock again.. 🖤

For everyone who loves Chester voice and what he has done with Linkin park group I recommend new album of Grey Daze - Amends which is my favourite right now. Masterpiece of hard rock new stall genre music. Very dark unfortunately as well but it only shows vocalists was already struggling with his depressive disorders since teen-age over 23 years ago and he has fought this for 20 years until finally given up 3 years ago. All his old songs remastered are his original lyrics showing his fight with himself started 20 years ago. "Sometimes", "syndrome", "in time" and "souls song" are about struggling with life on the edge. Than he got better for a while only with LP.
