Thanks so much for caring for and protecting wolves! When I was younger we got a dog that was part timber Wolf and part husky. He was a wonderful animal and I learned a lot about wolves. It's so important that we protect them.

She also has GSD, Malamute, and Husky bloodlines mixed in, that makes her more accustomed to domestication, but she's still a challenge. James works with pure wolves and knows what he's doing. FACT

@@sunrise5567 here in Arizona ..I have a 15 year old guy,,,,,,buddy dog …..who is part coyote….yes ….he is large and a lover boy ….and always skittish and cautious…..beautiful blue eyes and bow legged up front ,,,hence a neighbor calls him ,,,Cowboy ……ex wife and daughters dog got out while in heat …got impregnated by several dogs …..cowboys brother looks like a perfect German shepherd,their sister looked like an Akita ….and cowboy looks like a coyote.

I wouldn’t care if they were in the wild or in a safe enclosure. Just as long as i see them safe and away from the dangers of hunters. Wolves are a beloved breed and sometimes get a bad wrap with mischaracterizations. It’s nice when I see people like you caring for them, watching over them like a wolf parent would, as well as giving them a safe home. Exactly right, I think average lifespan of wolf in the wild is less then 10 years and in captivity they can live up to 17 years.

I’ve always thought that wolves are some of the most beautiful animals on the planet. It hurts when I hear people say about hunting them and other animals. Here in the UK the rich hunt foxes for “sport” which is sick. Thank you for all that you do and for protecting them. If you like foxes/animals, a good channel is called SaveAFox. They are a fox rescue in Minnesota, US. Also rescue anything and everything else that needs it. The current fan favorite is an adorable weasel (actually said she's a stoat, but they call her a weasel, probably cuz no one knows wtf a stoat is, lolz) named Octavia. OMG, she is so fast you can barely see her!!

P.S. They mostly rescue their foxes from the dreaded fur farms. So there's lots of trauma, foxes born captive and never touched the ground, it's awful. But once they get these guys - OMG, if I was a fox, I would SO want to live there. It's like fox Disney land. HUGE space to run and play in, awesome fox friends, other animal friends, TONS of love, great food, lots of treats, fun toys, and - if you get house trained - you get to sleep in the house!! Foxes are SO cool. 🥰💯

You will never change my viewpoint on wolves - I absolutely love them. Not so much the pet type like yours, but the wild ones that just want to be left alone out in the woods. They are certainly one of the most maligned and misunderstood critters around.

You work so closely with these animals and yes, there is trust and respect is there, but even the most well trained laid back dog can turn on its owner. Admittedly, I was used to be one of the haters of zoos etc, but if they have the space to do what comes naturally, then it's fair enough, and even though there is that bond, they are still wild animals. You do am amazing job in caring for them and you have my respect. Love watching the interaction between you and the animals.

Hola James, I found you a couple of weeks ago. I grew-up on a farm and have raised so many animals, from birth. That bond it creates is such a beautiful feeling. I have such respect for animals. Spending summers on the Res the wilf horses would allow me and only me to ride them without a saddle. Animals following me home, since I was a child. I just have this deep love for all animals and I respect them. I love your channel, you have my dream job. Since I was a child I have had great love for wolves. So much that when I went to Yellowstone I wanted to see them in the wild. Sadly I couldn't because of endangered they were in. Thank You for being a young man of my own heart. I am a retired and disabled U.S. Marine and turned my property in the woods here in N.E. Wisconsin into a wildlife refuge. I started this over 14 years ago and as of today I have a large wild bear family that I enjoy feeding, socializing and playing with. There are many different wild animals that I am around every day but they are wild and it is on a different level than what you have the honors to enjoy. It is always very awesome to see people of the same heart as mine. I have a lot of fun with the bear and yes I do have many scares to prove it. I have been bitten and swatted many times but it just goes with the territory of playing with bear. I will be 67 years old in May and liven ah dream every day the best I can while I can. You are correct in what you say about all the animals you deal with and I tell people all the time, I trust the wild animals more than I would ever trust any human hands down! I live in northern Ontario Canada were we have what we call "bush wolves" running around in the woods. They are a cross between wolf and coyotes...I seen one running off with a chicken in its mouth last spring. They come out onto the ice when fisherman leave their scrap minnows out. Anyhow...I've often had fantasies of finding a wolf pup abandoned and I could help raise it. Not sure the likelyness of that happening but I am again looking at adopting a rottie from our local pound. I had one before when I lived on the west coast and he was sooooo chill, a big boy, and well mannered a heart of gold. I always felt sorry for the people who would see me walking him and cross the street to avoid him when they had no idea the love they were missing out on. Anyhow wish me well with my search. At skycrest elementary in Clearwater Florida they brought a timber wolf in for us to see when I was in 4th grade. He was beautiful and very nervous. He did not like all the people around but he was absolutely beautiful and it was a great experience to help children appreciate these beautiful creatures. So glad that there are rescues like yours to help with the needs of these rescues.

If you're new here, you're gonna love this channel! I love that we can safely sit behind our computer screens and watch these moments. I like seeing that the animals are having fun and being treated well. And the fact that he says he knows he can get hurt but does all this anyway. If he didn't do it, the animals would miss out. I’m new! I totally get it! I’m very petite and people give me stuff about having really big dogs so I can imagine even a big guy with WOLVES! I adore Wolves but the only time I can see them is for a short time at facilities like where you are but in New Jersey. Thanks for educating people on how exceptional these animals are and how truly important they are to our ecosystem!!! 🎉❤
