Bedroom Beethovens I feel like up to America’s vote, Katy and Luke are honest about what needs work, and they say it constructively. Especially Katy. I remember thinking about a contestant « Damn, it’s American Idol, not American Psycho », and sure enough 5 minutes later the girl was cut, Katy telling her it wasn’t American Clown lol I also think they have to find the right balance between honesty and not shitting on a kid’s dream. The Voice is much, much worse. They literally tell kids they have an amazing voice and are the best they’ve ever seen, that their performance was amazing, when it was the worst we’ve ever seen on the show.
