What amazingly functional space. It feels much bigger than 200sqft. Isabel did amazing job in creating eating, living ans sleeping area in her main room. A shelving unit is not only working as divined but provides prep space. Amazing!

I love home tours and I have seen a lot on KZbin. This one is easily among my favorites! I also live in a Brooklyn studio apartment and am lucky to have a similar closet but I am far from this organized. But this - this video right here - gave me the brilliant idea to put use my closet shelf for my pants! It makes so much sense but I hadn't thought of that. I really appreciate how thoughtful she was in making the most of each area. Very inspiring! Also, she's hilarious!

Isn't your apartment (sorry studio apartment) absolutely fabulous, Simon is the star though, he's awesome and a very lucky boy to have such a good room mate, I bet your so glad Simon that you found such a lovely lady to share your home and become your Mummy. @@kayy-b2t yes, seems like a perfectly reasonable size for a fridge. :) our first studio apartment, my bf and I had a "fridge/freezer" that was half the size of this one. The freezer part was absolutely useless and only served to form blocks of ice. 😂

We had a 455 squ apt in Phoenix Az and it felt smaller than your apt. They show 450 Squ foot apts in NY that are huge. I don't think they know how to measure in NY.

She's done a great job with such a small space, but I would want more living room and less bedroom. Maybe the bed could fit lengthwise next to the closet, even though I know you don't want the kitchen in the bedroom, no kitchen island, and the rest of the space would be a nice living room area that could fit regular size furniture. Her 'office' is the old dressing area that was so common in old studios, like we need a room to get dressed in😃. But she has it set up to fit her needs, and it's perfect for her.

One thing that bothers me about some small apartments is that people are afraid to use color. This is a beautiful little apartment but you can paint one wall in one area and use wall paper which come in a variety of patterns and designs/colors on another area like the bathroom or kitchen. You can also add more color by adding some more art pieces to your wall. Other than that very nice apartment.
