A direct democracy is mob rule. In other words if we were in a direct democracy the people with the most power would be the people with the most money. In the constitutional republic the power is redistributed among the states and among the people and we decide who's in power and we decide who controls things. What people don't realize is we actually have more control over our government and a constitutional republic than a democracy because in a democracy a direct democracy our government can take full control over everything and we wouldn't have a say in it because the only people who would have a say would be the members of the democracy itself. Isn't it fun to learn new things.
