I was in your area - Arizona with Czech friends and found a series of restaurants called The Golden Corral which featured many kinds of food and not just fast foods. We also bought fresh foods which we ate whilst staying at various camp sites. We toured the West Coast and it was amazing. You may be interested to know that the British class system can determine what a meal is called; a working class man will call a midday meal dinner and a hot evening meal tea whereas a middle class person will call the mid day meal lunch a light meal in the late afternoon tea and a later evening meal dinner. This is now changing but is still around.

Very interesting, Jack. Are you British? So awesome that you toured the West Coast and got to go camping.

@@EnglishCoach3Ts Yes. I managed to realize a dream to drive down the remnants of Route 66 with the Rolling Stones playing the song on the record player. We stayed at Yesemite Park, drove down the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, visited Bryce Canyon, San Diego zoo, the Redwood Forest and the Petrified Forest. The father of the Czech Ludek Bartos family is a world authority on animal behaviour which is why we there. It was an amazing experience.

Hi,Tanya! I've met my campany's vice president and manager at my campany today, and I talked with them in English. I was very nourvous, but I dried. I told my goal is becoming to be a Japanese instructor here, and my English ability is not enough, so I learn it more and study continuously. Espy is so cute! Japan, Kazu

Hi Tanya, great video thank you. Here in Miami where I live, we have food in all varieties, like fast food, (burgers, pizzas, fried chicken, etc.) and authentic food from many countries, in special from Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, etc. We have many options to enjoy in the bakery and pastries. You can buy a lot of fresh food like fruits and vegetables, with delicious aromas and flavors. And it is common to buy homemade food in small businesses to eat in-house with family.

Hi T., I got something to share about "to spill the beans / to spill the tea" . Here in Italy, if someone has to let out kinda secret we don't "spill the beans or the tea: we "spit the toad" Funny, isn't it? 😊. Hope I've raised a smile from ya. Tks a ton for your clips. Love from Italy ❤️

My question about food is coming just after I told you a little story where I didn’t understand what I was seeing at that time . We were at a campground in USA and we were camping right next to Americans from South Carolina . They were just 3 people including a little girl and , what was my surprise to see their breakfast camping table full of food almost a buffet like vegetables fruits and stuff but , especially a big piece of meat ( kind of big steak ) it was such a big breakfast for us who are used to eating eggs and toasts and rarely meat . So , my question is : Is that common to eat such a big breakfast for Americans ?
@EnglishCoach3Ts
@EnglishCoach3Ts 9 ай бұрын
Great questions!! It is different in different parts of the country and also for different people. It is not common for me a people I know unless it is a special event like Christmas or a birthday. Other people do that on the weekend and still others almost every day.

Hi Tanya .Supermarkets here are authorized to sell meat, specially the biggest ones. What I don't know is processed fruit or food? In my case I go shopping every day, since in my opinion the waste of money is more controlable. Being alone it's easier. We can find all kind of products, but literally nowadays as the economical situation is critical they are more expensive than we can afford. Thanks again dear teacher. Susana de Argentina.
