At least you still have your ego, right? Cause that's all that matters. Moron. And to everyone saying the cop's on a power trip, he was well within his rights. He had every right to not only tow the car, but arrest the driver. He would've given the driver a break by either giving him a ticket for or a warning, and letting him get on with his day, but the driver pushed his luck too far. An expired tag is a valid reason to tow a car, and obstructing a police officer is a valid reason to arrest someone. Sorry. He didn't arrest the guy for "mouthing off" or because he was butt hurt. I like the straight forward approach of this officer. Not like other videos where they go so overboard to appear to be really cool guys. As far as I'm concerned their job is to uphold the law in the manner of this officer. Not to play to the camera. Great job.

@Jody Owen nah the dumbass is the one that caused his car and himself to go in, rewatch the video. as you can see if he was cooperative the trooper would've gave him a warning or at most a ticket.

That cop was ready to hit him with a false charge of obstruction. He doesn't have to leave if he doesn't want to. If he's on a public sidewalk/area and he's not keeping the officers from impounding the vehicle then he is within his legal right to be there. This cop is on a huge power trip
@ericrobbins33855 жыл бұрын
This is improper conduct on the officer. You do not have to step out of the vehicle until and after the reason for being asked to do so. If it was stated the car is being impounded then the driver must exit the vehicle. I find it interacting watching these clips and see a lot of legal misconduct.

Honestly, what I've learned from these Live PD videos is that police officers are just not impressive. The standards and requirements to become become an officer should be higher, but it's not, so you have garbage people with mental health and ego problems filling these departments up to the brim. Also, in every one if these videos, you have either sheltered children or moron police officers defending every action made by the officers in said videos.

@@shanefalco8177 Lol, right on cue. See this is the problem. You think your little training makes you better than the "99% of the civillian population"? That somehow you know better? Do you even need a college degree to become an officer? Get over yourself (if you are a cop) And I don't need to know the exact training and protocols to know that it's not enough. Just look at the petty and childish behaviors of some of these officers. It's a disgrace. And before you get further butthurt, is it really a bad thing to hold the police to a higher standard or do you want to keep making excuses for these people?
