It saddens me that so many people had to go through the shame of the diagnosis ON TOP OF the actual disease and its effects as well! But I'm heartened by how far we have come, how much progress we have made...not just with the medication/treatment and prevention...but also weakening the stigma that is still prevalent even today. I'll keep making videos on the topic and see how far we can take it!

@@RaifDerrazi You should research how colloidal silver kills HIV, there are government, as well as other nanotechnology labs who wrote articles saying it. .5 to 25 nanometer sized silver particles can enter into the bloodstream and work wonders in your bloodstream. I recommend taking ACS 200 Extra spray brand which is proven to destroy HIV, and over 650 other pathogens, including TB, pneumonia, herpes, and even leprosy. Stay away from ionic silver, just stick with colloidal silver. Research the nano science articles and other searches how colloidal silver kills HIC. I've taken norma dose of it since 2014, and no bad side effects. Overdoing may cause skin to turn grey or even blue in extreme amounts, but mostly they took the unhealthy ionic silver that they made themselves. Hope you make videos of your HIV counts dropping. Look up on Google: HIC Negative Colloidal Silver and read omnisonline . org article. Then find on page: Patients and read the results.

Victor...first of all...mad respect to you for sharing this not just with me, but the community at large. We all need to be examples for each other. Second, I commend you for being strong in taking responsibility for the situation and for being so honest about it. Kudos to you...there are many who would not have the courage to do as much as you. Third, your commitment to your wife and child to-be is admirable. I'm humbled by your struggle and my heart goes out to you. But all things in perspective...you will be fine. The medication is absolutely great now. All things considered your wife and child should be fine as well. In the grand scheme of things...taking some medication is a minor inconvenience in exchange for the gift of and blessing of getting to live a full life. I'm sure the guilt and shame must feel very real right now. And that's okay. Allow yourself to be present in it for a little while...Be there for your wife. Reconnect. And then, when you're ready...forgive yourself. You have to. If you want to be whole...if you want to really be there for your family...then you NEED to be okay. It is to the benefit of everyone that you forgive and love yourself. Life is far far far from over and you have so much to be hopeful for and so much life to look forward to. I wish you the absolute best. Have heart brother, you can and will get through this and be the better for it if you want to.

I had a fantastic experience taking Genvoya, as non-medical professional i can't make a formal recommendation but I definitely think it's worth having a convo with your healthcare provider about. I'm now taking Dovato (it has 2 drugs instead of 3) and it is going very well also. I would be happy with either tbh

Black Panther I’m glad u find the video uplifting! Remember...ur still the same guy after ur diagnosis as u were before. It doesn’t change who u are or ur worth whatsoever. These are some things that helped me out along the way: I found loving people who I could share my diagnosis and who I knew would support me. I took my medicine as prescribed. I started focusing on living healthy...major overhaul from diet, to sleep, to exercise, to mental health. I read motivational books such as ‘The Motivation Manifesto’ and other self-help books...there are a lot of great ones published by Hay House. Also, I woke up every morning and began writing 5 things I was grateful for every day into a gratitude journal. I chose specific empowering affirmations to say to myself when I was feeling down or anxiety. It’s really a great opportunitu to overhaul ur whole life and improve it all around...diagnosis aside.

If you're lucky enough to live in a country with Universal Healthcare (such as here in Australia) where all treatment and medications are free! It's horrific to know that you folk in America have to pay for your medication and your Doctors. Maybe in 2020 you can vote in a party that wants to introduce a single-payer healthcare system. Best wishes for kinder a future!
@harvey19652 жыл бұрын
@metamorphosis in process that's horrible and I'm sorry your medications and medical care are so costly in your country - though to be fair to your current Democratic President Biden, all the changes that he wants to bring about are being blocked by the Republicans in your Congress. Your President can set the agenda - however it will not come to be unless it can be passed by into law AND the Republicans do not want you to have Universal Healthcare, let alone affordable medicines. THEREFORE, make sure you and as many family and friends vote Democrat in this year's midterms! (Either that or immigrate to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom etc where free Universal Healthcare is the norm!)

Aside from the day to day medication management, what about dating? When did you decide to go public and how did that change your world?
@RaifDerrazi7 жыл бұрын
Eli Parker good questions bud. I started telling people as soon as I found out. I let my family and closest friends know right away. Then I let my coworkers know. And then I eventually decided to vlog about it this year after getting over the fact that part of my estranged family would probably disown me. Now, i wouldn’t change anything if I could. As far as dating, dating honestly surprised me a lot. I had very little issues with it. I was always very upfront about it and most people weren’t too concerned especially when I explained it. A small proportion of people were reticent but when I explained it they grew more comfortable. And then a very small minority just did not want to date after finding out. And tbh, that does me a favor. Anyone worth my time and energy and anyone who really values who I am will be able to look past it.

Yes, Tammy...it can be a bit easier for me given the area I live and that it may be much more socially acceptable here than perhaps where you're from. I think it's important to at least have a CORE group of people who you can rely on and trust who are able to be there for you and support you. Also, I hope at the very least that you are seeking treatment and taking care of your health! It is very treatable and very manageable now.
