Greetings from Niagara, Canada!!!PROPS TO THE PEOPLE IN THE Contender with the twin Yamahas. I believe, after watching almost every video you've released, that this is the first boat captain to make sure ALL ON-BOARD are wearing life vests, including the captain! GOOD FOR YOU AND FOR USING SAFETY MEASURES on the water. Life vests save lives. Smart captains also help when they are smart!!! I guess some people (many) think of boats as big toys. THEY'RE NOT!!!🙂👍🙏🙏🙏

Fl..6 and under require wearing vests when underway. Not making excuses for any of them..I require everyone to have a vests on when in rough water or running fast. However you wouldn't necessarily see mine. Auto inflating tends to not be noticeable when wearing a shirt, and the same for most teens and adults I have a fair amount of money invested in them so they will be worn and not used as a cushion. I also have eprib and plb. It's been a long time since I would run 25 miles off shore on a hobie 18 off So CA, and even then flares and smoke..but the electronics were SciFi back then.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale a tale of a fateful trip, that started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailin' man, the Skipper brave and sure, five passengers set sail that day, for a three hour tour, a three hour tour. The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew the Minnow would be lost. The Minnow would be lost. The ship aground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle with Gilligan, the Skipper too. A millionaire and his wife, a movie star, the proffessor and Mary Ann, here on Gilligan's Isle. (Ending verse) So this is the tale of our castaways, there here for a long long time. They'll have to make the best of things, it's an uphill climb. The first mate and his Skipper too will do their very best, to make the others comf'terble in their tropic island nest. No phone ,no lights, no motor car, not a single luxury like Robinson Crusoe it's primitive as can be. So join us here each week my friends, you're sure to get a smile, from seven stranded castaways here on Gilligan's Isle!

It really blows me away and more than anything it pisses me off to see children (12 years of age and under) without any form of PFD/life jacket on as they get bounced around a boat that's trying to cross the bar. As if that wasn't bad enough they are usually on a boat that's operated by someone who couldn't get it to the dock under idle speed but for some reason they feel it's a good idea to try and navigate one of the most difficult channels on the east coast. I'm not usually someone that gets behind government intervention but Florida needs to update their life jacket requirement from under 6 to 12 and under. Seriously, what are the chances of a 6 year old that's thrown overboard without a lifejacket surviving on a day the Haulover is angry? It's not good. Much worse than with one on! It's common sense. If you give a damn about your kids put them in a fucking lifejacket!!!

I think they believe that the boats are unsinkable and I can only imagine the damage being done to the hull and structure of the boats, even the larger boats that, still, are not meant to be bounced and slammed down as I see so often. Sorry, I think I went off track!!!lmao I am a retired ski boat operator and I'm with you on the license thing. If not a license, at minimum, some kind of certificate to verify that you've "learned" about captaining, along with some time on the water and finally a test and high grades to captain "any" boating vessel. I honestly see nothing but recklessness with most of these captains not showing any regard to the other boats. The inlet seems more like a landing strip, with the jetties and boat flying through them.😰 Is it sad that I kinda enjoy watching these boats? 😬🤨👍🙏🙏🙏
