@@wickedwitch2169 I thought it was a normal amount, considering it is a creamy soup. For instance, check recipes for Chowder, you will be surprised by the amount of cream that goes into some classic soups.

I've been finding sweet red pepper in my soups really good. They don't over power, they look pretty chopped fine and they are calling them a super food now. Great for building your immunity.

Half a red pepper contains all the Vitamin C you need for a day, much more than any other fruit or vegetable! They really are incredibly healthy and tasty - I started putting them into tomato-based dishes (sauces, salads, soups and salsas) as well, their sweetness accompanies the accidity of tomatoes very well.

You can add instant potatoes for flavor and thickening. I smash Italian flavored croutons and add to my creamed soups. They add great flavor and seasoning!

Hi Sara, I used chicken broth from day old chicken soup and added the chicken and emulsified all together. Makes a wonderful thickener. I loved the bacon and never thought to roast the cauliflower. Thanks for the great tip. My soup was yummy especially with recent rainy days. Got hail just yesterday. Love 💘 from California.

I’m usually low carb too, but I’m disabled and there’s a LOT of cooking in low carb and I’m not able. I used to be able before my vaccine and after that I’ve been basically ridden to my recliner. I wish I was there with y’all. That soup looks amazing.
