I bought the same mouse a year ago as well, I agree I can totally feel the weight difference. At first it felt almost too light, but my flicks after a week were on point 🎯

lift some weights a few times per week like an hour before using your mouse and that will do more than your mouse change did

I needed to replace my deathadder elite, so I went to my local best buy to try out whatever they had on display. Tried the Viper Ultimate, didn't like the shape, heard about the Superlight but unfortunately they didn't have it on display. They told me though that I could return the mouse if I didn't like it so I picked up a DeathAdder V2 and this Superlight. I immediately knew this was the mouse to use - the weight difference is noticeable and it just feels good. It's definitley not cheap but if you're looking for the best lightweight wireless mouse, I think this is the one.

And Logitech G HUB is also available for Mac and as long as you can connect the USB receiver to Mac via USB hub or USB A-C dongle, the mouse will work perfectly on Mac.

*Shine bright like a diamond* Lowkey, i always hated Logitech coating. It feels nice, grippy for the first month and then it starts shining. You name it - G403 , 703 , 305 , 303 , GPW , GPX , G903. Had them all, all shine after minimal use. It's very aesthetically unpleasing and becomes slippery. Watching this video makes me want to quit using my GPX right away seening what to expect after longer use. I have maybe 1-2 months overall use and M1 and left side where my thumb sits already shine.

It's definitely something I've come to terms with but I do agree when it starts to wear in a bit it can be annoying. Mine lasted me a good while but depending on grip and such this could be worse for others

@DJaquithFL2 жыл бұрын
My experience so far after a month or so .. 1. Buttons .. are too slow, I want a button I barely have to touch as a trigger. 2. Scroll Wheel .. stepping is too loose, e.g. switching weapons (1 click/1 detent) is hit and miss. The notch spring / mechanism needs to be much tighter. 3. Side buttons .. are too recessed and need to be about 2mm taller. I'm looking into getting mine modded by someone. I can handle replacing switches and skates and maybe firming up the scroll but that's about it. I haven't a clue what to do about the side buttons and or if there's anything that can be done. Overall yes I like the Logitech GPX Ultralight but it's certainly not my "dream" mouse. I'm really wanting a Final Mouse but paying DOUBLE and not knowing IF I'll like it is an issue I'm grappling with right now.
@3ildcard2 жыл бұрын
Well, very few mice have easier to spam clicks than GPX tbh. MZ1, Haste and Xlite perhaps. The OG G303 used to have extremely easy to spam buttons, but i can't vouch if the Shroud Edition does too. I do like a tiny bit of pre and post-travel so i don't plan on modding my GPX but perhaps you can get rid of it and swap the Omrons with TTC Golds. I am not a huge advocate of instant clicks tho, it leads to accidental actuations. But, i see where you come from. GPX does indeed have slightly more pre-travel than what i'd call "healthy amount" on the MZ1 and Pulsar Xlite. MZ1, Haste and Xlite have by far the best tensioning in my opinion, with very minimal/healthy pre and post travel to prevent unintended clicks hence why i use them as a comparison. As for the side buttons, all you can do is grip tape basically. Or ask someone who has experience in 3D modeling to model and perhaps print you a less recessed buttons. You can head over to r/MouseReview or their Discord server. Scroll wheel... well, replacing switches, replacing wheel encoder at this point you can order one of these hot swappable GPX PCBs if you're willing to spend $. Encoder is not hot swappable of course, just lmb and rmb. But at least that way you'll be able to experiment with different switches and find the ones that fit you best. TTC Golds feels super snappy, light and responsive on Haste. I have modded my G305 with em and again they feel great. The PCB comes with TTC Gold encoder, tighter , more defined steps and better tactility in comparison with the stock white encoder.

@@Chuha97 ... Here's what I ended up using, but since I have a hot swappable PCB changing switches is as easy as the cost of new skates. Hot-swappable PCB Board .. FacFox or Bearded Bob** Switches: TTC Dustproof Gold 60m Encoder: Japanese ALPS (note: 9mm vs Stock 8mm) ** Bearded Bob has several options from a customizable soldered PCB to a hot swappable PCB with your encoder or full bore, a fully modified GPX Pro. The next step is to send it to a custom painter or buy a colorware.

Wondering if I should get the Logitech G Pro X Superlight or the Razer Viper Pro V2?
@DangBubba2 жыл бұрын
If you're familiar with the g pro shape or are coming from the standard g pro then the superlight will be home to you. To me the viper feels more low profile and doesn't have that prominent "hump" that the g pro line does, also the side grips vary slightly between the two, the G pro feels to have more of flat/straight side grips - at least that was my experience. I think they're both great options. If you fingertip grip, I might opt for the Viper. If you claw/palm it could go either way depending on your hand size and grip. I hope this helps you come to a conclusion!
