I'm glad they finally fixed their error. I bought one for me 6L80 and its unusable for tap shift because you can only move the shifter left from the Drive position, not from the D3 position. Paid a lot of extra money for that.

hey bro , how did you manage to do the wiring ?? where these 9 wires need to go ? i have the 6l80 transmission and have no idea how to do the wiring as the instruction manual is not so clear . i’ll be so thankful if you can help , thanks

I have a 4r70w in a 4.6 2v cougar. they make a shifter like this for my trans but what would i need to do to wire everything up Edit: i planned on getting a shift kit/jmod, and a transmission cooler. besides that what would i need to get the semi auto to work?

So he uses what he calls his muscle car module cost a couple hundred dollars from him last I’ve looked. This whole system you see probably run you $800 or so. Not really worth it for me. If you get the 8l90 your probably better off.

Why is the tap shift backwards? - went up a gear + went down a gear?

It’s not. It’s easier to pull back while accelerating
