Bro, this is absolutely phenomenal. You move like I move, and your diagrams are accurate enough to illustrate the principle, and simple enough to understand at a glance. Happy to see more of your discussions, demonstrations, and applications.

Staying upright helps you defend against grappling too. If you lean forward you can be thrown easily. Similarly, if you lean back you can be pushed to the ground. So, the upright posture is useful in a striking system that also allows grappling.

I don't know anything about Long Fist, but this style reminds me of Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson's karate. It'd be interesting if you explored the differences and similarities using actual professional fighters as examples.

Hmmm..in all honesty, that theory part is good only up to a certain extent. Practice it in a more pressurised uncontrolled manner where you wont be able to predict the outcome and see if the theory works and use different styles and techniques against it..only then you will be able tonfind out if your theory works or not and to what extent it works with differing syles of combat.

@@JettoGospel In all honesty, I spar, it's not theory, it's just one approach 👍 thanks for your opinion, I agree things need to be pressure tested, and I've been doing that for awhile now
