Both Airbus and Boing has enough orders, the challenge is to deliver them. The company that can produce the most aircraft will be the one that sell more.

I am Licenced on 747's, 767's and all engine variants...worked on 707's, 737's when Boeing was an engineering company making great aircraft...I had nothing but praise for Boeing quality, now...I have zero respect and contempt for Boeing senior management...jail the crooked bastards.

I simply won't fly on a 737 ever. Other Boeing planes would be my last resort if I couldn't find a flight with an Airbus. They are not the least bit serious about changing their corporate culture. I've been involved in doing just that a few times, and I know that the first step, particularly with something as severe as this, is to fire everybody who promulgates the old culture. Letting the president step down at the end of the year only perpetuates what's already happening. If they were serious, they would've fired him immediately along with his cronies and started promoting the people who'd been screaming all along.

@@hanj31 The typical capacity of the a350-1000 is between 350 to 400 seats, 480 if you cram as many seats into it as possible. This value is almost identical to that of the 777-300ER or the 777-9 (x). I'm not even an Airbus fanboy or anything, but the way I see it, Airbus simply makes better planes atm.
@hanj31
@hanj31 Ай бұрын
@@ScepticGinger89 777-9 will have a capacity greater than the -300 ER. Korean air might be doing 3-4-3 config on the 777-9. 777-9 will have a larger capacity. A350-1000 isn’t really meant for 3-4-3 in economy. Sure the A350-1000 might be a better plane but I’m only talking in terms of capacity. You can’t get even 400 seats on an A350-1000 in a 4 class or even a 3 class configuration unless you do 3-4-3 for the 3 class config which Korean air will not do.

If the Boeing resumes a prodiction line on time, if it can fix all the problems related to senior and middle management , Boeing will probably return it's leading role in commercial aviation. Boeing has perfect planes, but awful managers who put selling points above quality's issue. Anyway, i hope the battle between Boeing and Airbus will last many decades yet.

According to the numbers that is not exactly accurate. 9/10 people still do not mind flying on a Boeing aircraft. The ONLY aircraft people have major concerns about is the MAX, and those flights have not really been hurt much at all. The largest operators like Ryanair, Southwest, and United continue to sell out the seats. The 787 continues to get rave reviews worldwide, and the legacy of the 747, 757, and 767 continue to speak for themselves.

You are absolutely correct: it is so narrow that it is the only “narrowbody” where passengers are squeezed into 17 inch wide seats. Airbus A320 have18 inch and the middle seat in the A220 is even 19 inch! It’s the world in reverse. US citizens are typically less “narrow” than the rest of the world, but they are the ones being squeezed into the most narrow seats!
