Man, you still have the best videos! It's content like yours that makes KZbin still a great place to learn.

That's awesome. I have the black fixed-focus time zero one-step Polaroid camera.

Am working on an RF right now. People get the regular Pronto confused with the RF model. Sears or Penney’s version of the Prontos are just as good.

Your model is more patient than most of the ones I have

This was pretty neat. I've been thinking about getting a Polaroid camera. I'm getting one now.

Cool! Keep an eye out for the type of film the camera takes. These vintage camera's take SX70 film which is usually only available on the polaroid website.

I wonder if throwing one of those old focus dongle thingies onto the lens would help with keeping your hand out of the way. You know, it's like a lever that attaches via rubberband and sticks out from the lens to help with focus pulls... You might have made a video about them in the past 🤔

That's a good idea!

love these polaroid cameras - do you think the actual photos are better than the modern ones?

Hello, greetings from Chile, I have a question for you, what is the correct way to disassemble a Polaroid camera model 3000?

Do you have any tutorials on taking these cameras apart? I'm just got a Pronto autofocus model today. The exposure compensation wheel is there but it's not connected to anything. It just spins freely. It just doesn't stop where it normally would.
@knoptop Жыл бұрын
the trouble with these specific cameras is, the lens is fused on so you can't remove the front completely. you may be able to pull is off enough to reset the knob gear.
@robertknight4672 Жыл бұрын
@@knoptop I could try that. Something interesting I found out about the autofocus Pronto's is that it uses beside mounted shutter button setup that would later be used on the 600 cameras. The autofocus Pronto has the advantage of being able to accept a standard cable release.

How do you tell the year of the camera?
@knoptop Жыл бұрын
I usually just look up the name of the camera and most times, there's a camera wiki that lists production dates.
