LOOKING FOR CLASSIC RECORDS AT THE LOCAL RECORD STORE

Is it possible to find a good deal on vinyl these days? Its getting harder and harder, but I remembered a record store not to far from me has some CLASSIC records that are affordable. I check out REDLANDS VINYL and was surprised to find some cool vintage records.

The Byrds started to turn towards country rock with "Sweetheart at the Rodeo." One of my favorite albums of all time.

Price is important to me. That why I thrift so much. I found a record shop within a flea market with a ton of classic rock albums. Prices are 5,10,15 and twenty dollars I always leave with albums I like in great condition.

Hey Monie, a round record in a square sleeve that turns into a cube !! Seriously astounding ! Great to see you promoting the value of record stores, finding a local store with a great owner and great prices adds so much to the joy of record collecting. You may find that 'Holland' album is a true keeper btw just saying !

nice looking shop. that melanie record that turns into a cube is kinda cool. they used to do things like that a lot back in 60s/70s not so much anymore. you’re really becoming a beach boys aficionado. even though i grew up with their music thru my parents playing them a lot they've aways been a BestOf band to me meaning all i need is a good comp to listen to.

Cool thing is I get to hear a lot of these classic albums for the first time, it’s all new to me. I remember beach boys from movies and tv shows, that must have been cool to grow up around music. Yeah it’s a nice little record shop, usually don’t find new records but they have boxes and boxes of random a stuff, fun to dig when in the mood.

Cool stuff! Farther Along is not one of my favorite Byrds albums but it has some nice songs. Buglar was my favorite on there. That's a great Beach Boys album, really underrated! 😁

MOnie, I really enjoyed this video. The Melanie over is very cool, never saw that before. I have had good and bad luck buying records on ebay. Some sellers don't know how to grade records and some do. So it is tough. Take care

You’re so right, the grading of records is so hard to determine how accurate it will be. I like when the user post their own photos of the product and not stock pictures

Great pick-ups I love vinyls cassette tapes and cds a lot one album you got I got the album as well the beatles a hard days night album I love that album by the Beatles is so underaded people never talk about that album when it comes to the beatles albums I got the vinyl as well amazing album congratulations for buying that great video keep on digging for great music peace out and have a great Saturday

Redlands Vinyl....Great store. But even better is the Palm Springs store, also owned by Dave where there is also a live Beatles podcast every Monday night.

Here's a few bands you might like [a] Glass Beams [b] Monroe Moon [c] Khruangbin. They have stuff on vinyl. If not check them out on KZbin Glass Beams are an instrumental band, their song "Rattlesnake" is cool. Monroe Moon are a cool band, check out their song "I Smoked A Cigarette Instead" & Khruangbin is a trio & their song "August 10" I think you will like. You picked out some great selections. Local and at pop ups is the way to go if you can! Glad you found some you wanted/needed. There are a couple decent shops in Palm Springs the one downtown (or what I would consider downtown) was decent and the lady there was cool. If you get out that way there is a very very good shop in Twentynineplams as well, plus a smaller but not bad one in Joshua Tree. Thanks for the video:-) have an awesome day.

I agree with you ordering over the computer is boring I like a record store. it is nice to get out of the house , nice Melnaie , I agree at 3;30 is cool !! nice Hard days night , nice Birds , questions 1. what do you think about southern Rock any interest in Lynyrd Skynyrd Street Survivors think it's 1977? 2. if you saw the game did you see when they showed the box seats did you see any talent Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Dr. Dre, Beyonce and Lebron? 3.. who do you like better Usher or Taylor swift? 4. who's actually better Usher or Taylor swift? 5. did you have a superbowl party if so did you eat off plain plates meaning superbowl and grid iron and did you wipe your mouth with the same in napkin form or did you eat off and use team napkins example Raiders, Chargers , Rams, 49ers ect? 6 or were you listening to your records or watching you tube videos?

Aloha Monie Muse It's so exciting, to go record shopping . You scored some great titles .That four sides of Melanie is really hard to find a cover in great condition like yours. Gather Me has two of my favorite Melanie songs Ring the living bell & Brand New Key. You never go wrong with a Beatles album. Beach Boys Holland don't remember what that sounds like not sure if I have one anymore in my personal collection. I know that Byrds album I don't have. Since I'm in Honolulu Hawaii , we have jest a couple of shops I go too, I tend to buy on Discogs, when I find something I want ,I also check out the sellers other record so the price of shipping goes down sometimes I'll find 5 items from that particular seller. I only purchased VG+ & up on condition, & I always check the ratings, I always read their negative comments to see if it pertaineds to condition. Ratings need to be 99 or higher if it's lower (97) most likely it's because of condition. Thanks again Monica for another wonderful video. Mahalo Ed
