This comic is honestly way more charming than I'd have ever expected out of, what did you say you were, in middle school? it's so cute, it genuinely has a really nice charm to it. Like, I actually feel, genuinely, the balance between the silly and goofy character designs and the light hearted comedy w/ the more adult type stories and serious character moments is actually really well executed. the characters don't need to *look* serious to be taken seriously, it's the charm of their character dynamics and the stories told that make the reader open up to them and connect with them. like unironically I would read this. These two are very scrungly and I love them dearly.

Woo I'm really late commenting but anyway. I found the comic quite entertaining and I think that if it werent for the t slur this could be a fun lighthearted series that I would perhaps read. I love this comic, BigBoy looks like a really marketable design honestly, if he was more kid friendly I could imagine him evolving into a multi media empire like Hello Kitty, solid design. Aaah, this reminds me of my own random comics that I never got close to completing back when. One was a story about a Chosen One rattlesnake who had a goddamn harry potter lightning bolt scar to signify his specialness. Though... I think there was something about gods? And lightning bolts? I think ChosenOne's egg got struck by lighting by a God and I think there was another Chosen snake who was bad?? I envy little me's creativity. Nowadays that's something I struggle quite a bit with. >:'-( How does that make sense man.
