Seriously! They were perfect for each other, she was good for him and he was good for her. I remember watching this on it's first run and previous to this episode I was thinking all season that they definitely had chemistry and there was something more there, I wasn't sure if it was just me or not but then its revealed in this episode and I was so happy! I think I even said out loud "I knew it!" lol. I liked that she was always able to calm him down by putting her hand on his shoulder and always had his back whether she agreed to it or not. I also liked that she never called him Sawyer, it's always been James, I've noticed she also called him James when she was "the bad guy." To me he's always shown her more then anyone his real self and not the con man, especially throughout this earlier season. They just made so much sense and it was a very healthy relationship, no games or anything. They were just great!

When the Ajira plane landed on the Island, Hurley, Kate, Jack and Sayid all flashed back to 1977 where the time skipping people were, and they all experienced the same three year gap. After Locke turned the wheel he appeared in Tunisia three years later, about a month before they went back to the Island.

Yeah this episode is in the top 10 and this reaction EP is terrible. This whole reaction series with the bearded guy has felt kinda lame to be honest. It’s like they’re just getting through it like it’s an obligation rather then a genuine interest in reacting to the show.

Didn’t Rousseau say that its a security system protecting/guarding the Dark Territory back in season one? So maybe it only appears when characters enter or get close to the Dark Territory because they’re on its piece of land now. For those who haven’t seen the enter series we can only make up theories. Sometimes people are attacked in the jungle while others can walk around freely. Miles and Daniel are walking around and have no idea there is a smoke monster around lol.

I'm just now thinking about the fact that if "the island" didn't send them back to 1977 and instead sent them to 1974 James who on the island originally was 35 while Jack was either 38 or 39 I forget which, James would still be 35 while Jack would've aged more than James. LOL at Rick thinking the Ankh is important. It's just important to HER. Same thing happened with Kate's plane. Why can't this show's just introduce a personal object without people speculating endlessly about it being a long term show McGuffin!? 😂 I believe Charlotte seemed to have died in the same time that they saw the full statue, so imagine an old native island culture coming upon Charlotte's body in modern day clothing as wondering "WTF?".
