Thank you so much. Really appreciate that you do not do "negative body talk" (like f.e. "This will make your legs look ready for the beach") when you explainin the exercises.

I am a classical Indian dancer, and I dance 3 hours a day in hot weather. It is very intense and I sweat a lot ! While I am very slender, I felt like my stomach had very little definition and tone. I also have a bit of belly fat. I started doing this workout about 5 weeks ago. It was my first time ever doing Pilates. I have since noticed HUGE changes … my mid section is harder, smaller much more toned … I feel a lot stronger and my dancing has also improved a lot. I do this workout every morning before going to my dance studio. I take Sundays off. I am so thrilled to see my body transforming … I feel I am on my way to achieving my dream body ! Big thanks to you Lottie ! Because of pilates, now fitness has become a passion of mine aside from dance !

This has been the first time I have been able to work out in a healthy way (that is, not obsessing about how I look but exercising to be healthy regardless of appearance) in about two years. I'm recovering from an eating/exercise problem, and this was perfect. It was not easy but not too hard either. I appreciate you not making comments about how this will make your body look (saying that doing this will make you look sexy or get killer abs or something like that) only saying how you will feel! Thanks!!

Hope you're doing well. I went through a similar situation many years ago and have to remind myself exercise is about a healthy mind and body rather than about appearance.

I went through the same thing a few years ago, hope you're doing better. I struggled with anorexia and bulimia for years. I'm 33 years old now and find that slow and controlled movements and instruction like Lottie's is what my body needs. Focusing on how you feel rather than look, is much more important in my experience❤.

I don’t usually leave comments, but I have to say this is by far my most favorite and most done workout on this channel. I love how it’s intense without being out-of-breath-near-heart-attack-intense, like many other intense workouts. The morning after I always feel a little sore, like I’ve done it for the first time, but it’s really my 20th lol and I always feel just a bit more badass after doing it. These types of ultimate, strong, intense Pilates are my favorite and it just goes to show you don’t need to bounce around like crazy to really get a really good workout in. More like this would be lovely!

Thank you for just getting right into it - the way we would in a real-life Pilates class. I know it's KZbin and everyone has a format but I really appreciate that you don't spend 5 min in the beginning talking about yourself! I'll be back :)

Perfect combination of safe stretches and strength. I love that Pilates offers more safety then yoga and that you don’t incorporate many yoga moves like other teachers do but stay more true to the original Pilates, stability and mobility. Something like this was really missing on youtube.

We are both 66 and have been following your classes for a while. We love the presentation and the easy explanations and have also enjoyed the challenge series. It has been such a struggle to find the right workouts for me. I have always loved fitness, but then I started having back issues and I couldn’t perform the same fitness I was used to. These workouts incorporate strength and stretching in such a delicate, yet challenging way for my body that I could honestly cry happy tears about it. Thank you so much for sharing your craft. This is the first class of yours that I did, and it was nearly impossible for me at the time. I was recovering from a chronic hamstring injury, and because we were all dealing with the early stages of the pandemic I couldn't see a doctor about my issues. I diligently followed your other routines, loved the Advent/24 days of pilates challenges, and eventually was thrilled to be able to join your online studio. Here we are, over two years later and this class still holds a special place in my heart. I'm happy to say that my chronic issue is (mostly) resolved, thanks in large part to your excellent classes, both here and in your online studio (fellow viewers, if you're on the fence and can afford it, sign up for the year - worth every single penny). I am also happy to say that it is no longer nearly impossible. That's not to say it isn't still a tough class, but I've become so much more capable and strong. Thank you, dear Lottie. I doubt you'll ever really know how much your youtube channel helped me during that tumultuous time, both physically and mentally. And to anyone out there who's still struggling with their fitness, just keep going. xoxo

I do lots of sports, but I used to have lots of severe body image issues as I had a very unhealthy relationship with food. I spent the past 2 years trying to lose weight but nothing seemed to be working. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I noticed my fat slowly started to turn into lean muscle, and this along with healing my relationship with food and doing 15 minutes on the elliptical along with this routine daily changed my life! before I was 67 kgs (and 5'4)- I am now around 53 kgs(and 5'5). 4 more to go!

I just found your channel recently, and I have to say that you are my favorite Pilates instructor on KZbin! You have a nice variety of routines and some days when the world is just too much, a calm relaxing one is just what’s in order. Some days a more rigorous routine is perfect. I am a big fan of your classes, I find you very clear and precise when guiding the exercises. I always do more than one class, as they are very short. Would you have a more complete class of 40 min or more? Thank you for teaching and for dedicating your time to such a pleasurable activity. You are very good at what you do, keep going!

I loved this class! I thought it might have been too challenging for me to start with but I’ve done it and I was surprised at how much I could do. Haven't done pilates in a while as I'm more of a yoga person and I really enjoyed this! I liked that it felt mindful in a way a lot of pilates routines I've done haven't. It felt good for me and not just for a hot bod 😂 Thanks for this, I'll keep an eye out for new videos to follow along.

Great workout! Loving your videos. I recently decided to step away from high weighted and HIIT workouts, because I feel like my body is bulking up and not losing any fat. With some alterations to my diet (but not to much) I feel my body is toning up. Your workouts really help, I really like how you explain everything and take the time, awesome!!

I definitely got myself worked up before doing this thinking it would be painful and unpleasant but was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the routine and feel SO good now I’ve done it. Since finding your channel I feel so much better exercising and accepting what my body can do - challenging not punishing 💪🏼

Legit the best pilates class I've ever done! I know this is unrelated to the content, but I LOVE the paint color on the background wall!!! What color is it? I just got the green light to paint my apartment and would be so endlessly grateful if someone would help me figure out what color this is.

I have done this one twice now. I appreciate that the moves aren't super complex (like every move doesn't have 4 steps and I get lost) but still works you pretty good!

This is my first video with Lottie Murphy and I absolutely loved it! I was from cardio workouts and such to lose weight but always wanted to give pilates a try, I got treated with RA and gout a few weeks ago so I can no longer do my cardio and HIIT workouts as it hurts so bad, and I finally got to try pilates. It went beyond my expectations! Not only I can tone my body well, I feel refreshed physically and mentally, will be doing this everyday, thank you for this!
