Thanks,. Interestingly I had an AMX/ Dodge Dealer next to,Pharmacy where I worked in 1970: they had 70 RWBLUE MACHINE in Fromt *& THRU the system (?, unknown): I looked briefly and to,Dramatic 3color, etc. Anyways looked at 70 CHALLENGER 4 Soeed/SE RT *( really loaded), and got the Ralley RED CORONET 500/383/330 , auto etc. IN retrospect, the MACHINE MAY HAVE been the one to get and save...my A70 Coronet 500 served well some 15 years, rusting away horrible, etc.

Your buddies 66 rogue is obscure, since the 390 wasn't available until 68. AMC may have had a few in mid to late 67, but those went to racers. 66 was the first design of this engine, and it was 290CI. There was a total of around 745 rogues in 66 that got this 290 engine. I have one that came out of a rogue. On these 66 engines, "290" was not cast into sides of the block. They did that in 67, to differentiate from the 343 block.

My favorite muscle car of all time. The Machine was a serious performance contender from AM. Typically underrated. The goods are inside and the H.P. is underrated, consider the 8000 RPM tach for clues (take it past 5 for an eye-opening revelation). Group 19 could make a Rebel Machine exceedingly difficult to beat. This particular one is a priceless historical museum piece (one of a kind factory original). So very glad to see this car in good hands. Another great video Lou. Thank you. P.S. Seems a little blurry.

I have always been a "C" body fan. Over the years had my share of Imperials, New Yorker's, Fury's and a 1959 Monaco wagon, with a 383-4 and dual A/C. My 1967 New Yorker had a 440-4 with Dual A/C (got from the original owner, had the build sheet from the dealer as well as the window sticker). As I was doing air conditioning in Phoenix, I spent a LOT of time on roofs which gave me a birds eye view of all the neighbors and bought quite a few cars and stored them at a friend's salvage yard.

@@loucostabile I always enjoy seeing cars from the '50' through '70's. Was a car nut since I was a kid, my father could care less (He was a Studebaker man, our last Stude wad a Wagonaire with the rear "sun roof". My mother was SO afraid we would fly out, so she never let us sit back there with the roof open, but Dad said as long as you don't tell your mother you can ride back there. My neighbor had a Lark 2 dr in '61, his brother had an R2 Avanti (that I kept begging for a ride in) but he put it in a pond in the middle of January, 1965 and I don't know what happened to it after that. Another neighbor was a Chrysler guy and every time it rained, they wouldn't start. Big ol New Yorker with the larger back window and a Windsor. He use to pull us behind him on our sleds (back when we actually had snow in PA in the '60's. His son and I would go through all the car magazines and dream. Those were the days. Cars were cars and men were men. lol. Keep up the great work on video taping and sharing the stories of these beauties.

Hi truth hurts, Might be a slight "stretch" to get "street action" at an indoor car show, however I like the way you think. Hope you see many more cars on this KZbin Channel you enjoy. Please subscribe, and hit the "bell" so you can see all the cars when they are uploaded on this KZbin Channel, Lou
Your. Camera and microphone work is terrible, why don’t you hire an assistant

Hi Wayne Hawkins, Thank you for noticing! Seeing you have no videos on your Channel I know you have time to critique my video I'm sharing with you, so let me thank you in advance for being pro-active and please Sponsor me on my Patreon account so I can take your suggestion up, and here is the link. I'll be a good Stewart with the money you add to the account. Stay well, Lou www.patreon.com/MyCarStoryWithLou
