LOVEBITES - The Hammer Of Wrath lyrics: What's the worst way to die? Burning to death, or drowning? Everyone laughs in derision There's no hope at all Why is the world rotting away Howling in pain, they slowly die All of the sorrow is murderous The insanity (Burn up) They're calling me (Burn up) It's do or die (Burn up) Get ready for hell (Bring down justice to the wicked) Don't look away from the mistakes Open your eyes, and see the truth When lightning cracks the blackened sky Listen to the screams of distress It's like a bad dream but it's not No way to get out, a living nightmare Bring down the Hammer of Wrath Who will be the next to burn? God only knows the victim Everyone knows they are innocent All the hope is gone In despair they pass away There was no hope to begin with Even the angels are giving up Looking down on us Will this night ever break dawn (Bring down justice to the wicked) What's the worst way to die? Burning to death, or drowning? Everyone laughs in derision There's no hope at all Why is the world rotting away Howling in pain, they slowly die All of the sorrow is murderous The insanity (Burn up) They're calling me (Burn up) It's do or die (Burn up) Get ready for hell (Bring down justice to the wicked) Don't look away from the mistakes Open your eyes, and see the truth When lightning cracks the blackened sky Listen to the screams of distress It's like a bad dream but it's not No way to get out, a living nightmare Bring down the Hammer of Wrath Bring down the Hammer of Wrath ----- lyrics: miho music: miho & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)

They are always elegant and powerful. For me, all of their songs are masterpieces. This time I recommend two songs. I'm sure you like these. " Swan Song (piano etude intro live Zepp DiverCity Tokyo version) " beautiful power symphonic song " We the United (live Zepp DiverCity Tokyo version) " this song is our anthem. You can be happy.

Back to the lair of the Metal Goddesses, you can wander but you will always return to one of the best bands especially LIVE playing today. They have begun touring again in Japan, see how long that lasts, and there is real hope for them to do some festivals in Europe if allowed. They are ready to explode and would be a world dominating band had it not been for COVID. They are all petite, (only Miyako is over 5') wear white dresses and play in high heels for an entire show. Here they finished a 90 minute set and this was the encore bringing them back, looked like they were just warming up. Despite the insane energy of this band they never ever look like there is any effort for them to play this way. Welcome back guys a lot of catching up to do I am sure but remember this band defies genres, playing Power, Speed, Rock, Prog, Ballads and even classical piano. A taste of the insane talent is Swan Song with piano intro done LIVE (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGKlmqioiM2keK8) or Empty Daydream LIVE (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oonLkKiDgp5noLc).

Hopefully at some point Lovebites will be touring worldwide. All depends on Covid. Lovebites are five Japanese lady's playing heavy metal and showing up the four or five sweaty guys from western bands playing four or five chords and thinking they are the second coming.

They have taken something from the best of the eighties metal bands. If the eighties metal bands are version 1.0, Lovebites is version 2.0. Haven't heard a better band in 40 years. So just find a live number with them. Up the irons. kind regards from the Kingdom of Denmark

I love Lovebites, because their songwriting skills and music composition are beautiful. Most of their songs have uplifting lyrics such as: Glory To The World, We The United, Rising, etc. And they always consistently make powerful metal songs without downgrading to pop. I listen to a lot J-metal band, but they sounds like anime songs and didn't click me.. I don't know why. Lovebites the only Japanese heavy metal band that I trust in the future.

I love Lovebites as well, but this is a weird comment. What even does anime music mean? That's such a broad term. Is it because most Japanese bands sing in Japanese? If so, then that's incredibly stupid. There are all kinds of metal bands in Japan.
@yeheskielbramti47853 жыл бұрын
@@cepho8349 singing in Japanese or English doesn't bother me. I just don't like mixing with pop, chipmunk voices or even electronic dance music which are not my taste, I just make sure they play "straight and pure heavy metal". Just like Loudness and Anthem for example.
@cepho83493 жыл бұрын
@@yeheskielbramti4785 I see. That is fair. Well, it is rather hard to find like pure heavy metal bands in general nowadays. It's not really a popular style of metal anymore. Even Lovebites dabbles in different subgenres of metal as well, after all.

You guys only did one other reaction to them, more than a year ago--Shadowmaker. So, re. their looks: other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuke”); they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music, in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer, but Midori has also been getting into the act. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They have only been around for just shy of 5 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level. This was the opening their encore, after 90 minutes of thrashing. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist, and some of their songs feature her on the piano. You should next check out “Holy War” live: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJikqaN7paqWpNE If you want to see what they do with the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGKlmqioiM2keK8 Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. Other live songs to check out are "Rising" kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5DNo5uwr8ioiLc "Edge of the World" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHi1qYt5edmFfKM And "We the United" kzbin.info/www/bejne/bonYlKyilKyVfbs These last two should be done back to back, as they were actually performed in the concert, because they form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6rRn4t6m6qhpLs (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) "When Destinies Align" kzbin.info/www/bejne/nn2plp9_bpiJoa8 "Glory to the World" kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6itpXdojaqLfpY and "Winds of Transylvania" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqSoZYiYlLWdnpo. You can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!

And with this post, the Wolf Pack has found their general, similar toAnn Waychoff and Gabriel Bardac of the Nightwish Army! Would this be the Wolf Pack's Alpha Male? :)

@@athlonen kind of you, but there are quite a few members of the Wolf Pack faithfully posting information for reactors. Just glad to be able to help get the word out about this amazing band. By the way, Wolf Packs are led by Alpha Females (ie., they are matriarchal) so not sure if there will ever be an alpha male!!! But that makes them a perfect symbol for Lovebites.
