I put a 5.5/6” drop on my 64 long bed. I added a 6 degree shim under the block to correct the pinion angle. No vibration at 70. I also got your tires. I “buffed” them with 80 grit flap wheel to get that gangster wide whites on a budget. Love the patina on yours 👍

@@DickHamm I’m running 235-75-15 all the way around. With a 700r, I’m cruising 70 at 2k rpm. Idk what gear ratio, but I’m pretty sure it’s a stock rear end.

I have 4.10 gears and a 700r4 in my Camaro and it cruise's just fine with that overdrive 👍

Looking good man! A good friend of mine out in central Cali (I'm in FL) has a 65' (i think lol) C10 that was his dads. Pretty much all original. I'd love to get him to lower it some. Get that low and slow vibe goin. But I don't know how he'd feel about it. Anyhoozle...It's looking sweet!
