I had gotten bells palsy due to extreme stress (though it felt more like a mini stroke) back in 2018 that also affected the entirety of the left side of my body with aches and pains and feeling stiff compared to the right side of my body. The first time I follow along to this (quite terribly actually but I did my best) after resting I could tell that my left jaw is not tense anymore, like WHAT, including the rest of my left side too! My arm, waist, leg, feet, I feel so loose and free, I am stunned and definitely doing this again to release the tension, Hella crazy and I'm loving it, I feel so thankful for this right now, my fingers feel it too, it's amazing!

I have had asthma since I was a kid and very bad allergies, resulting in a weak body and mind. Master Shi Heng Yi literally saved me from a very negative mindset, I am so grateful that the universe connected me with such a beautiful human being that has a very loving heart and shares so much with us. I am still early in my journey of healing the mind and body but now i have hope and guidence from him and his wonderful community ❤️. I wish that someday I will meet Master Shi and pay my respects to him and his community. Thank you for your unconditional love and teachings, much love and appreciation from Romania❤️

The Form and Master Shi's demonstration of it for me is the most exceptional resource offered by such a teacher anywhere online. Even in absence of any prior martial arts training or internal arts such as tai chi, I urge anyone viewing this clip to give this practice a try. Its entirety may appear complex, however as its title defines its merely 13 individual postures merged by a repeated circular transition from left to right. Simply practice the repetition of one posture at a time, committing this and the circular transition left and right to memory before attaining full recall and moving to next posture. Movement of breath along with muscular and skeletal flow in union with the internal energy of the body are centrally important aspects to the health benefit of these arts. However forms such as this one devised to merge all these aspects through the natural dynamics and expression of flow intrinsic to the human body. I have practised many forms in the past, all oriented to achieving the same health benefits. There's just something about this form that makes it the complete article and so uplifting to practice and work with. For many years such forms as these were confined to even small regions of homeland China. Its a huge blessing for one such as Master Shi to share this in such a detailed and honourable way with all who wish to watch and learn. I extend my most grateful respects for this and all other contributions he's made here on-line.🙏

At the age of 73, after having begun many, many times with different types of training, I have listened to you, Shifu, and now am working to introduce structure into my life FIRST, before I get very serious about training. It's a challenge, but grows easier with time and repetition. Thank you for good advice.

@@Iris-qd9cs I'm trying, but so many distractions! Doctor and dentist visits, car problems, family obligations. It's very hard to get up in the morning and stay on track for several hours when so many things pull us in other directions. But if you can't be consistent, then be persistent! Sometimes I can only do part of my morning routine, but the habits are gradually forming.

Im facing a hard illness, now.. preparing my body and mind for a difficult surgery. During the training i don't feel any pain, and forget all about it. I feel like flying and can see the light again. Thank you Shi fu. I'll be ready and strong for hard times. 🙏🏼

Fantastic video! Love the dual format - one take with beautiful music - one take with follow-along instruction. This will make learning the form more interesting and more efficient. Also, love having the students in the background with the differing levels of mastery. It makes me feel better about my lack of proficiency - everyone can benefit and we improve as we practice. I like this mode of teaching!
