Thanks buddy! You've done great!! 加油加油~ Have been watching your videos introducing Taiwan's street food all around ♥ Can't find any second one as good as yours. You present yourself with professional host style, rich and interesting contents.. Most importantly, pretty and clear ㊣ ENGLISH -- This encourages non-native speakers a lot^^ (Your cameraman is a key factor to success too! )

Hi, Luke, love your videos! If you come to Toronto by any chance, come to St. Lawrence Market. Or if you go to St. Jacobs, Ontario, visit the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market. These are places with history but are still very much lively and active today! Show them some Canadiana!

我的英文也很糟糕!期待中文版@@
@alanbirdHQ7 жыл бұрын
覺得你附上[CC]英文字幕已經夠認真 有中文的話當然會更加分,但或許也該是讓台灣網友直接讀取英文,練習提升自己唸了N年的語文能力了~ Enclosed English [CC] subtitles sound good enough, if Chinese to be added to benefit the local viewers will be an A+ though. Maybe it's time and far better for them to help improve their own English by reading English ONLY ^^

In Tokyo you have to try tonkatsu (pork cutlet) there are so many places which make really good tonkatsu. You could possibly try going to the first establishment in tokyo to sell tonkastsu (however since it's the original style they don't give sauce with it) it's called Rengatei. There are also really famous fluffy pancakes which you can find in cafe gram another popular dish is the tiramisu pancakes. Many places in tokyo also sell kakigori (if you get to visit Nara there are small little shops/stands which sell them as well) but since's it's a cold dessert treat it might not be trending if the weather is cold. In shinjuku there is this udon shop which gives you size upgrades for free, when I went I only order like up to 2 people's servings I think while my friend went for 4 servings, I'm not sure if there is a limit, it's called tsurutontan. The udon there is so delicious and they have a wide range of styles, I went there a few times and this one beef udon had like I guess a citrus smell to it. I think they added an orange peel or something but it made it taste so good. price roughly ranges from $15 ~ $25 so like I would definetly urge you to upgrade (: ! There is also a sushi chain store called genki sushi which serves the sushi on like this automatic machines which come really quickly like a rocketand it's cheap and more importantly tastes good. In harajuku you have to try crepes from one of the many stores down takeshita street. For some more suggestions sukiyaki is a must, japanese curry, MOCHI !, and of course ramen !!. I hope this helps (: ! I tried commenting on the blog but i didn't know if it got through and I didn't want my efforts for this long comment to go to waste? so here it is again. Hope you don't mind !
@christinechen8477 жыл бұрын
I nearly forgot but there is this all you can eat okonomiyaki, yakisoba and monjayaki restaraunt that's a 5 min walk from kichijyoji station (but it might be like a 30 ~ 40 mins train ride from tokyo station so it is a bit far). It's really cute and tiny and themed like a really old kind of japanese elementary school with small wooden seats and sort of really old japanese cartoons playing in the backgrond. The owner is really nice !! They also let you cook the food yourself but if you're stuck they teach you how to work it (don't forget to use the mayo and okonomiyaki sauce if you do go when you eat). It's called hachijuhappun (:

When you come to the Netherlands you have to try stroopwafels, drop and hutspot. For the hutspot I don't know when you will be in the Netherlands because it is mostly served around november/december when it's colder. Maybe you can get some erwtensoep with it. I'm originally from Taiwan ( adopted when I was 8 months so I don't remember much ) but for the almost 15 years I lived in the Netherlands I still don't like drop so it is a extraordinary flavor in my opinion, but still you have to try it. Hope I could help you with some food recommendations. I love watching your videos, keep up the good work!!

when you re in amsterdam try haring(fish), stroopwafel( try this one on the market, there you have stalls where you cn buy a gigantuc fresh stroopwafel ), drop (liquorish), poffertjes ( mini pancakes) , patatje oorlog ( fries with peanutsauce, mayo and onion), frikandel and kroket ( both are deepfried snacks invented in holland). the fries and the deepfried snacks you can buy at a 'snackbar' that you can find all over the city
