I’ve been watching your vlogs for years and have never commented but this one was truly perfect and a total joy to watch from start to finish. Your last few vlogs have been just what I need to totally relax and unwind as life is quite full on currently. I agree with someone else, that seeing the more homely vlogs lately has encouraged me to take more time to get joy out of my own, even if it is while cleaning etc. thank you so much for sharing! Ps. Also loving the focus on going natural with more elements of your life! I love this idea and outlook ❤

This was actually the loveliest vlog Lydia. The chickens following you, the doggies following you around, Lumi coming to her bowl once you tidied everything, and especially those tails wagging - very heartwarming. Such a comforting living space to share with us all. Proves one doesn't need glitz and glamour and excitement to live a lovely life and thrive. Everyday moments can be exceptional. You're a nurterer, it envelopes everything around you and it's lovely to see! 😊

Lydia, you can name your horse whatever you wish. I rescued two mares. No idea what their prior names were. They respond just fine to the names I gave them. I mainly call them by their nicknames anyway. They are healthy and happy and very loved, which is what matters most.

i know this isn’t the place for it, but i kept seeing Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane mentioned over and over in comments, and curiosity finally got the better of me. i read the book, and honestly, it’s one of the most practical guides to understanding manifestation i’ve ever seen. it’s not about instant results, but you can feel the difference as you apply what it teaches. seeing how people respond to me now, i totally get why it’s all over the comments.

Hi Lydia, I just want to say that I started watching your video during an awful migraine and I felt terrible, not only physical but also mentally (I was so angry that I can’t do all the things I’ve planned to). Than I heard you saying that you are trying to stay positive even though you are in ,,that part of the month” and I decided to change my attitude (you even inspired me to do some cleaning at my flat). So if you read this I just want to let you know that I really needed that film and say thank you for making my mood a little better ❤

this isn’t really related to the video, but i have to say-i kept seeing people talk about Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane in comment sections everywhere. after weeks of wondering, i finally decided to read the book, and i get it now. it’s not just about wishful thinking; it’s about learning how to truly focus your energy and align it with your intentions. it’s made me rethink so many things about how i approach life.

It’s so funny. People think that they’re decluttering. What they do is move one thing from one cupboard to another. The issue is to much stuff. I see this through OCD eyes. I think everyone does this. It clutters your mind too! Just give all your excess to other people who might like. My cleaning girls love my stuff. This is meant for advise purposes only, not criticism. It makes you feel so liberated..

Fragrance chemicals are considered endocrine disruptors, meaning they can interfere with the body's hormone system by mimicking or blocking natural hormones. This is something you might want to look into that could be contributing to your hormonal issues, I've noticed you use a lot of scented sprays, candles etc. There is a good podcast on The Diary of a CEO with Yvonne Burkart where she shares how she balanced her hormones naturally by eliminating many toxic products she used daily.

I have heard so many good things about drinking/using raw milk. Apparently it has so many benefits for autoimmune issues. In fact I believe the root of all disease starts in our gut. You should be able to find a farm or farmer nearby that will sell raw milk. It is so much better than raw milk that is sold in grocery stores. While I live in an agricultural community I have never heard of a dairy close to me. I follow someone here in the US who has a large family. They have used raw milk for 5 or 6 years and it has completely cleared the father’s severe allergies, one child’s eczema, digestive issues etc. These are normal rational people that I feel comfortable believing what they have to say. Please let me know if you start raw milk and how it works for you.

I'm loving your new, beautiful horse, but I must say the name Atlas is a little off-putting or harsh. Giving body building vibes or competition. Not your intent I would guess. Colin seems much more sympathetic and soft/cosy which is more your vibe, I think. He has such a sweet face and very soft eyes which seem more Colin-esque. Not trying to rain on your parade, just giving my two cents worth of opinion. Plus as others have said, he's used to Colin and will be more relaxed continuing with what he knows already. Everything else will be new. Congrats! Very exciting! You're looking beautiful and confident and happy, as ever. Well done. I know it's a result of your hard work and tenacity. I'm so excited for Atlas's arrival! Love getting to see all the stuff you are getting for his arrival. Two things i wanted to mention were that we invested in a rolling nest box for our chicken coop and that prevents any of our eggs from getting mucky and we don't ever need to wash them. Something to consider. The other thing was we meal prep our meats on the smoker once a week. It keeps us rotating through what we need to use up but it also helps us prep it was faster for a meal through out the week because we are just reheating what we portion we need. I love the idea of stashers for the rice!!! I hadn't thought of doing a batch of plain rice before. We make up several onigiri once a month to have a stash of those to pull from but never plain! How simple and obvious! Thank you for sharing life! It's been lovely to reset alongside you!

Couple of Qs: Do you heat your chickens' food during the winter? We used to have to growing up...even though we lived in Hawaii. Next Q, does anyone know why people use the word bougie? It literally means middle class...I understand people think it's connotation means fancy/classy...but it's actually an insult...so why use it?
