Given that other people described what Marlena actually represented, I really loved your reaction so I please ask you to react to more Maneskin songs. Probably the most touching one is CORALINE, being in Italian I recommend you to choose a video with English subtitles. Not the live of this song at the moment as you would loose a lot of this masterpiece, due to the strong connection of the poetry lyrics and the musical construction. If you want to react to some beautiful lives I would recommend instead: LA PAURA DEL BUIO FOR YOUR LOVE LE PAROLE LONTANE (For the Italians please look for the live with English subtitles) Or AMANDOTI live with orchestra a SanRemo song contest where they won the competition (look in MELOX KZbin channel which is the orchestra director directing the performance) Thank you so much

@robywolf9042 жыл бұрын

Marlena is their inspiration, is the music that saved them, that guides them to go further. If you think of the song this way, you realize how He invokes her while he has still Half cigarette and a piece of paper to come back and inspire him to write more music, because without inspiration they are doomed to disappear

@vivi vivi CORALINE not Carolina is a real girl , a friend of Damiano who inspired a song with a very sad story of parental abuse . Marlena is not actually a real woman, Marlena is the personification of their inspiration, their Muse that helps them to compose their music

Ciao. it is exactly as you said. Thomas, the guitarist, said it is more important and difficult to be at the service of the song, to put the right notes at the right moment than to do great solos or technicalities.

obviously there is a more complex arrangements with those strings - you should listen to Zitti E Buoni with the string arrangement (one of the SanRemo live versions) - just to disprove any songs (even the most aggressive) can benefit with extra layers of harmony and instrumentation.
