I'd like to mention that the damage caused by the 7.62x39 mm round depends on distance. In cases where the velocity hasn't fallen (much), the wound inflicted is a through-and-through. Obviously, WHERE the round hits is important, but a through-and-through on the arm, isn't too troublesome. However, at longer ranges the bullet has more opportunity to slow down, which causes it to tumble; this combined with potential fragmentation can cause gruesome injuries. Just your fun fact for the day ;)

Why thank you. You're not too bad yourself you know, lol. Anyway, I just felt like clarifying some of the info being flung around. I always thought the AK-47's bullets were more powerful by default than the 5.56 NATO, but I now know that's not always the case. Yes, it uses more gas to leave the barrel, but the damage it causes is left to specific circumstances. At any rate, I love being appreciated for my randomness. Thanks dude! :)

M4A1 is the ultimate weapon think of it this way, it was a weapon used in all 3 MW games, and in all 3 Campaign modes. the games is technically telling you to use the M4A1

Me neither. Fact is, US and British communauty do not seem to find explosives that much annoying, but in France it is impossible to play a good MW2 game : too much nade launchers + Danger Close. Good enough the nade launcher is kinda "nerfed" in MW3.

Amish, you're correct that the M4 has a smaller round (5.56) than the AK47 and less kick. But the AK47 is classified as an assault rifle because it fires the 7.62x39mm round. Any select fire rifle firing the 7.62x51mm round is classified as a "Battle Rifle" such as the G3, FAL, Scar H, and M14. And the 7.62x39mm is a slower moving bullet than the 5.56, so it actually has a lower muzzle velocity, but I can understand that mixup. Love the vids!

G36C trumps both because it combines the best of both the M4 and ACR. It has the same damage profile as the ACR, but a fire rate closer to that of the M4

I think that the SCAR is very manageable even with an ACOG. And it's the only automatic weapon i want to use it with. I also use kick with this attachment. The M4A1 i use with irons, extended-mags and kick. Quickdraw, Scavenger and Stalker. I also always use Specialist with Blindeye, Recon and then Hardline.

Well, it has quicker reloads, lower recoil, and requires fewer shots to kill at long range. It also has, in my opinion, superior irons. I also believe, though I'm not 100% certain, that the ACR has a longer 3-hit kill range.

Mine's gold. Suppressor and Focus, SoH, Assassin and Sit Rep Pro/Stalker. Using a suppressor shouldn't really be without full stealth. If the enemy has a UAV and you have a suppressor, but not Assassin, you only have weaker shots.

I personally love this gun. It's low recoil and high fire rate make it more versatile than the infamous ACR. The only down side is the range...but the high raise allows you to use Assassin and sneak around more...the ACR has a horrible raise time making QuickDraw a must. I love both weapons but the M4A1 is just easier to use all around.

I have bad luck with the Suppressor on the M4. In MW3 and MW2, EVERYONE uses the Suppresor on the M4A1, but no matter how hard I try, I can't get in any good with it.

Odd. I do the best with the M4A1. I will say my setup makes nearly no sense but it works for me. Recon Pro, Hardline Pro, and Marksman Pro with the Stability proficiency and a Delta Red Dot. This works for me with any killstreak setup too. I can't seem to decide whether I like specialist or assault more with this setup. I also like this setup a lot because despite the weak range on the M4, I still am capable of utilizing the fast rpm, accuracy, and marksman to do well at range.

aaaah, though here's something I just found. The 39 mm round may be a bit slower, but with the extra mass it still has more momentum in the shots. Still, since it doesn't go as fast as the 5.56 mm it doesn't fragment as much so it doesn't do as much damage. Looks like I could have just phrased this better. The 7.62mm round is more "powerful" in terms of science which is what I was getting at.

@xxRagingAmishxx The AK's round has a much higher velocity thanks to its lighter round. This decreases it bullet drop and increases accuracy. The round, being less in diameter, also has less stopping power than the 7.62x39mm round. But, on the other hand, this round does not have as much power at range because of its loss in velocity because of its large heavy round. The AK has higher recoil only because of the bigger round, not a faster round. Hope this clarifies bro. Love your videos.

If I had to pick to get shot with the m4 or AK47, I'd pick the AK. 5.56 causes absolutely nasty wounds, that are real hard to tend. A lot of people have been shot with 7.62x39, the cartridge the AK47 shoots, which just penetrates and doesn't tumble or fragment. Like 5.56 does. So the AK round will just go right through you without doing much.

actually if it is a ganeva convention 5.56 green tip it does not tumble like fmj and cheep AK ammo is really nasty stuff and ak74s use a 5.45mm that has a hallowed tip but it looks like a standard fmj round and plane fmj tumbles MORE then 5.56mm.

But the G18 has stronger shots in close quarters AND a higher fire-rate. The Uzi really needs to have usable irons in order to be most effective, but it doesn't; that's why the recoil being high is really bad. Since the G18 is INTENDED to be used up close, the best way to use it is by spraying. I should also mention that the recoil was only ONE of his complaints about the Uzi. If the recoil was the only complaint, then you'd have a point.

The AK47 doesn't actually have a whole lot of recoil compared to the M4. I have never shot either of them in full auto, so I can't speak to that, but most people wouldn't use it in most situations.

I just started playing Mw3 a month ago. I tried to stay away and stick with Black Ops and everything I read about MW3 I didn't really find good enough to pay for MW. I'm using the M4 as one of my class setups. Generally for my anti air support class. I find the Irons ok, enough to warrent not using anything else. Though I do find the rear sight annoying and thick but workable. In short I have no issues with the rifle. But I tell you after blackops all the rifles feel like lasers. =-)

Everyone hates the G36c's recoil and irons, though (I don't, but that's not the point). The ACR has great sights and the fire rate isn't really low enough to cause problems. I hate the ACR with a passion, but it's no mystery as to why everyone uses it.
