It’s suffering and feeling no way out. And the suffering usually lasts years and years before one person can only take so much❤ empathy and compassion is needed in these situations. It is a illness just as a physical illness. Which has stages and some people can’t beat. I had my own doctor tell me I wasn’t depressed at 16 I just needed a job. Mind you I didn’t tell her I was abused for 5 years prior, which I shouldn’t of had to. Depression is not understood by anyone who hasent been there and it makes me mad. One nasty, cruel, judgmental comment, can push a person who’s already fragile from life’s challenges, to the brink of their existence & cause them to believe they aren’t worthy of living. This is bullying & the effect of bullying can have permanent results. It shatters a person’s spirit & purpose. If you can’t say a kind word to someone, then simply move on. You don’t want your harmful words to be the last thing someone thought of before they ended their life. Just move the f**k on & stop tormenting people. Thank you.

Such a brilliant and beautiful soul. We don't ever truly know what goes on inside a persons mind. Maybe she was a super sensitive soul? Any slight conflict or mishaps, mistakes, accidents, unfortunate events etc etc that occur, she takes it to heart! It affects her deeply. I understand her. Because I am the same way. Anytime life throws punches or curve balls or a money wrench into your path, you can't seem to shake it off and u take it wayy harder than u should. You end up beating the snot outta your own self. Which not only affects your life, but also the people around u. I got the sense of it all through out the videos I've watched of her and Max. Max I feel was her voice of reason and calmness. When Max said " money is only money" his attitude towards life and when sh** happens , he's good at dealing with it. Some people unfortunately aren't. When she began to cry in that one video, I could feel her pain and sorrow. She doesn't quite understand that its not her fault! Max i bet went thru a lot with her. We don't truly know what exactly happened at the end of the day. We all have our theories and assumptions. Me? I would bet the farm on her committing suicide. Sadly, it's more common than u think. It is international and free. Simply a bereaved parents mutual support group. No one understands like a fellow bereaved parent. Our pain is surreal. The causes of death vary, but we understand each other and those further along help show it is possible to survive. For anyone reading this who isn't a bereaved parent, one of the best things to help us moms and dads is to never ever suggest we need to " move on". We will grieve our kids til the day we die. We cannot " snap out of it". And over the YEARS we will learn to live on this earth without the most important person in our entire lives. It takes a long time to get up off the floor. There simply isn't anything worse than losing one's kid.

I know this will sound harsh as he said "when I feel bad about my life (self-pity in some eyes) to come on back and serve these people to get a true perspective of my life" ...we are here for a minute of time, one's purpose: "positive interaction" people, earth, etc...Choose to walk away from anything counter to that purpose...

Mental illness is very real. It’s not just a “low point” in your life from being too introspective. Chemical imbalances in your brain require medical professionals to step in and assist in diagnosis and treatment. Treatment isn’t always fun. Side effects are real too. I dealt with depression all my life. At 40 I started to get help. When I was placed on Lithium I discovered a calm that I had NEVER BEFORE experienced. Unfortunately I needed a higher dose after awhile and the side effects were too much so we started again from square one. Hard. I’ve since found a regimen that works for me but being alone isn’t good. I’ve been blessed to be with family through Covid. I don’t know if I would have made it through without that. People need to feel Comfortable enough to reach out for professional help. It’s not something that you can simply shake off... so many ppl make it out to be a weakness. It’s NOT! It’s an ILLNESS like any other. You wouldn’t tell someone to shake off Cancer or a broken bone. Please take it seriously. The ppl that need the help the most will very often project that they’re fine. I did and I nearly died. R.I.P. Lovely Lee💔

You were loved admired by real authentic people the problem I think that being 28 you grew hope with social media and some individuals are evil jealous and rotten to the core but this isn't a reason to end your young life I strongly believe that you were not well surrounded didn't you know that people are fake honey of course you found out the hard way but to all the people you made us dream it is not a reason again to end your life like this. You were very special Lee iam so sorry you did it so sorry for those who are feeling depressed please change your environment let go disconnect live for yourself not for others become selfish you first

It's a small world, guys. I've been watching Eamon and Bec for a long time and knew about Lee because she was in many of their videos. Flash to 2021 when my husband and I took a biking adventure from Santa Barbara to our home in San Diego. We were at the Amtrak station in Santa Barbara just 1 week after Lee ended her life, and I didn't even know until several months later when Eamon and Bec posted a video about it. Her passing hit me SUPER HARD because I battle with depression from time to time too.

I have been dx with severe depression, situational anxiety and panic attacks. I don’t know who will be when I wake up every morning. You may not want to hear it but I’m alive and doing well because I know Jesus as my savior. I still have dark times and I take medicines but I’m living.

She was just not happy with herself. It’s difficult to trust a person when depression is involved, we see it as a sign of weakness so rather than trust and talk to people we push them away.. Not even her ex Max not her new dude Jordan could help her be happy. A person with depression doesn’t live life day by day but rather minute by minute. As a person who was born disabled and has tried to take my own life a total of 8 times throughout my life i know she must have suffered deeply, I truly hope she found the peace in death that she could not find in life 😞😔

@@elbaby3 well just learn to remember that everything around you can and will help you IF you let it. With this monster called depression we can’t afford to live life “one day at a time” we must learn to live it “one minute” at a time. If you can learn to remember this I guarantee that everything will be ok👍🏻

I understand what it's like to have Mental Illness because I've suffered from it my whole life. Before my doctor finally found a new medicine which actually works for me, my depression was terrible...which included Panic Attacks and Severe Anxiety. I thought I'd be better off dead than to have so many dark days. I'm sad that this young lady died by suicide but Im not judging her. I wish that she could have found a medication that would work for her and a Psychiatrist who could have helped her as well. My condolences and prayers go out to her family and friends. RIP young lady.

I partly blame the medical industry on this. They tell patients they have a brain chemical imbalance. That's never been proven and they always like to say things are incurable when they are curable. ..they just don't look for the cause. One reason for depression is over relaxation of the brain blood vessels just like ppl have sluggish bowels. It's fixable.

Although we may now never know, I wonder what would’ve happened if Lee and Max would have never broken up. Sadly, her mental illness drove her into the hands of someone else that didn’t truly know her as well as Max. She thought that a new love in her life was gonna be the secret to regaining her happiness, but when reality hit her and realized that Max was her one true love, that further drove her into a deeper depression. A depression that eventually took her life. 😢

@riase2 жыл бұрын
I suspect it was bipolar. She was very very bubbly and bursting with energy (more than a regular person would) and then she probably had debilitating depressions (off camera). All that takes is the right medication.
@peggydwyer8187 Жыл бұрын
agree. type 2 bipolar. (both my sons had/have it, my eldest died). They did put her on SSRI's, which make it worse, as they treat only the depressive side, and it worsens the cyclothemia.
@MaryBoswell-s9y4 ай бұрын
I expect she focused on exercise, diet, meditation, and support of friends and family, which were obviously not enough. There are many different kinds of doctor-prescribed medicine that could have been tailored to treat her illness. Medical treatment has saved many people's lives.
@Kevin_405 ай бұрын
he probably dumped her or made her feel like shit i think thats the main thing that makes people depressed is when you feel like someone has given up on you. makes you feel like trash. when someone stops being your friend and treats you like a stranger or an enemy. makes you feel like you dont belong and arent worthy.

It's hard to watch Lee now that you are gone the question honey is why 28, gorgeous healthy looking what triggered this horrible decision to end your life. Life is so precious you had absolutely everything more than a lot of people and a new man in your life so I also suffer from episodes of withdraw and depression but I don't want to die I hope whoever suffers thinks 100 times before ending your life please live for yourself and don't be a follower. Follow yourself even disconnect from social media it is so important to live for you and be selfish that way social media as now we are seing is anything but real all the glam the traveling the friends a lot are fake Lee did not have the right people around her to grab her and say Enough now forget about all this bullshit and live for you stop talking to others stop recording every second of your life live in the silent of your life reenergize yourself change your life if your not happy leave but don't leave your life.
