I won’t be getting Apple intelligence on my iPad or iPhone so I’m glad I’ll be able to play with it on my Mac. It’ll give me a good idea if it’s something worth upgrading for or if I can just use my Mac when I need it.

iCloud tabs are such a mess in Sequoia/iOS 18. It was one of the best features. "Safari cloud syncing is a giant mess on iOS 18 and Sequoia. Nothing is working right. Cloud tabs are not updating properly on other devices, either showing old (closed) tabs or not showing new tabs. Closing a tab on another device doesn't work at all on any device."

Nice video, very handy to get introduced to some new features. One thing thought, it's still kinda baffling Apple is SO late to the game with the window tiling options. I mean, I used that on Windows Vista as a kid... 😅 And honestly, it still works better Apple's new version. In Windows, the only thing you have to do is grap the window and drag it to a side or corner and it will snap and resize. Apple's way needs more steps and needs 'precision', since you have to stand on the green dot. Then you wait and then click the right option. It should just be an easy 'drag and drop'. Their first attempt (forgot which OS version it was) was just horrible because it would full(half)screen the app and kinda force you to instantly add a second one to the other side of the screen. But this new version is still not what it should be: a quick drag and drop. I think more than 10 years ago now, I solved this problem by just using BetterTouchTool. I use it to give my Magic mouse more functionality by adding gestures, but it also has the window snapping built in. Anyway, long story short: try BTT, you might like it too! 😊

What issues do you have attaching them?

@yeahthatkornel I haven't installed Sequoia yet, but read that people had issues where their external hard drives couldn't be mounted.

The new tile feature is worse than the old way to me. The old way filled the screen(and second monitor screen) completely. As on mine and yours @9:40 the new tile leaves gaps around the borders and edges. Ugly looking.

The browser thing is not so much “AI” as simple html. But sure…let’s call it ”AI”. Cause everything is AI nowadays. So might as well make some money out of it.

@@Great1G its still not for remote access when your laptop is sleeping. It has to be on all the time. Apple should do a native solution where you can have wake-on-LAN
