Vogue, or voguing is actually a form of dance that came out of the gay scene in the 80s. Madonna brought it into mainstream in the 90s 😉❤️

Right! Also Voguing was featured in The Documentary Paris Is Burning (1987) that focused on the lives of a Group of African American/Latin LGBT Folks who do "Balls" which are like competitions and Voguing is the Highlight. Willie Ninja who was a Champion Voguer was also in Malcolm McLaren's Video as well. Sadly he died of AIDS related illness. Madonna is a great dancer and songwriter, AND her voice does play a huge part to bring the magic needed in her songs. Someone like Whitney Houston could never sing a haunting ballad like "Live to Tell" the way it should have been done. And also, this is clearly not a case of someone like Paula Abdul where the vocal talent is almost non-existent (American Idol is an embarrassment) and it's 99% about the dancing. Madonna is unique. You cannot put her in a box.

I like your reactions to Madonna. The legend that she is can be seen in your face. You are realising she is a true icon. A Queen. Do more Madonna...your reactions are awesome.

Memories! We grew up with Madonna! She continues to evolve with the times. This was 1990 - junior year of college. The names? Classic Hollywood when Hollywood was classy! We knew every move! Again.... it was great being an 80's kid!!!

I loved Madonna, I have most of her albums but I think “Angel” will always be my fave song by her. “This Used To Be My Playground” was another go to karaoke song of mine. Please listen to “Angel” 👌🏻🥰

Iconic! Madonna and Michael Jackson made MTV what it was in its heyday -- a cultural powerhouse. This video -- made in only 16 hrs! -- pays homage to old Hollywood and to Voguing, a dance from the underground gay clubs of the time. The dancers you see here were scouted out from those clubs by Madonna to make the video and to tour with her in the Blonde Ambition Tour (which had authorities in Canada threatening to arrest her, esp. for her risque performance of 'Like a Virgin'). Her dancers here acquired some notoriety from this video, the tour, and the documentary 'Truth or Dare.' She's very generous with her dancers (in all of her concerts) and lets them shine.

Crazy on You was in the 70s by Heart. Crazy For You was by Madonna in the mid 80s I think.

I watch a lot of reaction videos and I have to say yours is one of the best. You're so honest and real and it's a pleasure watching you enjoy. Do more Madonna. My favorite part was when you said. "she can dance to○?☆" THERE IS ONLY ONE QUEEN AND THAT IS MADONNA

Yes, Vogue is a fashion magazine - one of the most famous and influential. I vaguely recall that the Vogue dance craze started somewhere in the 80s. I think it had roots back to the 60s as well. Madonna's song which is an homage to the dance came out around 1990.

Gosh, there are so many great Madonna songs and videos. Yes, she always changing her styles and sound. I would suggest some of her live performances, she is fantastic live. Her Super Bowl performance and I really adore her Live Aid performance of Holiday and Into The Groove. My favorite is her MTV performance of Express Yourself

Madonna is a genius in reinventing her image - she is an icon for a reason- Madonna is progressive and she is an expertnin moving with the times and she will.not allow herself to be pigeonholed in one specific genre. She really defined freedom and self-expression- fearless 😊
