can you show me how to use Unreal with this kind of Setup, I want to get a Video of my Nebular (for a Screensafe), but in Blender, it takes years to Render and in Unreal it seems efficient. Do you have any Videos that go deep into this Kind of thing or can recommend any Video that takes a Beginner through it? Really good Video btw, hope I can get into Unreal and your newer Videos

Hi. Unfortunately this particular effect is not possible at this level of precision in Unreal Engine. People have created Ray marches that can use textures to make something similar but nowhere near this level of quality. Join Discord and I can give you some pointers in the right direction that would help you get a start.

As a skybox, yes Check my skybox video for unreal engine.

I did all this but when I try to import the 16k hdri to Unreal I get an error message "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource." even tho it only use 3k vram before it crashes and I have 8k vram total "rtx 3080" and 32gb
@ArghanionsPuzzlebox Жыл бұрын
That doesn't seem to be a problem a problem with the skybox itself but with your Unreal engine. Can you try increasing the texture pool?

Good day! I wanted to ask you a question: Last night I made a super cool nebula following this tutorial and left my PC rendering all night (7h more or less). When I woke up it was stuck at 100/256 samples, with my PC in turbo mode. ·My specs are i7 11800H 3.6 GHz, 32GB ram, rtx 3070 However I bought your blend file from Artstation, the Nebula Generator v3, changed a few specs to my liking and made it 8k instead of 4k, and hit render, and it is already quicker than yesterday night's render. What I have noticed is my CPU is running at 100% and my GPU is at 0%.. I thought the render would be using the GPU? Thanks!
@ArghanionsPuzzlebox Жыл бұрын
That is very odd. The GPU is set în The Render settings, right? Check the blender preferences > system settings.

Yes that's right.

@@ArghanionsPuzzlebox Oh my, that's made a world of a difference..! GPU is now 97%, CPU 11% And in barely a minute, 50 samples already! Thanks a bunch, it is my first time rendering!
