Magnus is a lot older than those Marines ... which makes his performance even more impressive.

When magnus got you grappled you pretty much done !. The upper body strength on magnus is unbelievable for guy that only weight 71 kg (157 lb).
@Hammer19872 жыл бұрын
Now that I think about it I'm not that surprised Magnus did so well during the shallow water grappling. As a professional climber his upper body strength and his grip strength is probably insane. Once he gets a hold on you he can just squeeze until you pop.

Magnus' climbing grip is great for grappling!

Just my two cents @: 13:00. As a Norwegian with similar complexion to Magnus, which is, let's face it, basically translucent, I firmly believe that he was not even remotely acclimatized to the CA sun. Norwegians love the sun, but that's because we're typically not blessed with it's presence throughout the year. Great reaction! Thanks for posting! 😁👍

As a muay Thai practitioner, his front kicks are surprisingly good. His lack of martial arts training means he pushes with the kick instead of trying to "snap it". A terrible thing for a roundhouse, but exactly how you want to do a teep.

Hi Theo, that was great and just like you said I was so immersed watching Magnus that the time just went by really quickly, I definitely would like to see more like this, I've an idea get Magnus down to Lympstone at the commando training centre uk.

I have seen this a couple of times. But watching it just now, there was one thing that occurred to me. Magnus strength is his arms. He even make that point early on that his legs aren't his strength. Trough all of that, his arms weren't being exhausted a lot. (Compared to his legs... at least not on the beach) He might still have had most of his arm strength and his grip strength going into those grapples. It makes a bit more sense when I think about it like that... And being Norwegian, I have also seen him compete on the show Mesterens Mester. (The Champions Champion) On that show he was up against a bunch of Norwegian former Olympian medalists and other athletes of that caliber. (I don't know if there is a translated version of it anywhere. I doubt it unfortunately) He was more than capable of holding his own against them.

He did some grappling on his channel before. I can't help but notice his "grab opponent around the back of the head, pull their head down, never let go" technique. I think it's a move, lol

Great Video. Not much has changed since I was a HM3. How about a video of the Darby Queen? I went to the Army because in the day there was no SARC program. 18D was the next logical progression, then I'd just walk into PA program. The SF board sent me to the 18E pipeline instead. Commissioned in MI. My training with the Marines was a great foundation for my future successes in all aspects of my life.

Magnus strong with his grips? Hmm never would've seen that coming. Fr tho he has stronger grip than Juji from Jujimufu (235lbs bodybuilder). So those hands gripping and holding his neck down must've felt incredibly strong.

12:17 speak for yourself dude lol. I was a beer drinking, twice-a-year PT, Navy guy for most of my career (had to actually start working out later in my career to stay fit as these bones got older) and the Marine PFT would have kicked my ass. Although, I must say, if you even have a little bit of fitness, you can probably pass most of the service PFT/PRT's. I remember not working at all one year because I was on deployment. All that time spent walking around the ship, going up and down ladderwells (I was on a Carrier, so sometimes I would go from 2nd Deck up to 07 level) kept my fitness up, to the point that I actually did better on my PRT then I normally would. In the end, if you are completely sedentary (and not morbidly obese), you can probably get in shape to pass any physical fitness test in the military within 3-4 months at most.

We are robbers, liars, adulterers, sinners, when we go to the court, the only way to pay for what we did is to go to prison (you can’t do good deeds to repay the bad you’ve already done, you have to face the consequences of your actions), if our sin was done against a policeman, the time spent in prison will be higher; judge higher, president; higher, the punishment against God is eternal prison, but if we have someone that will pay our debt we will be set free and this person is Jesus Christ. If you accept in your heart that He died for your sins, today, you will be saved and you’ll never be able to lose your salvation.
