You always put the loop in the leader so the thin end of the carrot goes through the eyes easily I’ve lost count of how many demonstrators get it wrong obviously you don’t want the blunt end causing resistance

Captions are very very confusing. Seems to me ( from their captions) they are using floro main line & braid leader which is Vass akwards to me. Still don't know how to tie them is knot properly thanks to the confusing captions. Going to Google more videos hoping to find a better video. In the meantime..... keep perfecting your FG knots y'all. By far the best knot for this job. Just takes a few more minutes to tie ( which is the ONLY reason I was looking for a tutorial for this knot )

Newbie to tying knots, tried 6 times, if only you could have mentioned which is mainline and leader, hence thumbs down.
