Make M17 Worth while ?

I didn't really know about M17 until you mentioned it. But you're right, ham radio operators typically gravitate to where there are other people. Because DMR radios are cheap everyone is there. Because FT8 gets lots of far away connections, everyone is there. Personally I'd love to see Icom or Yaesu introduce radios that supported all of these various modes, I think it would be great... but ultimately you're right, we're just going to go where the other people are.

Thanks glad you got my point I hear so many mention M17 just because they have heard of it but with no intention to ever use it .

@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones Most people, me included, are lazy. They probably want others to try complicated things like M17 and write better guides and software before they bother to try themselves.
