Reminds me of thus days with my son in the shop. He's a carpenter now. Enjoy each moment. The time will fly by.

Love your videos and especially love when you get the family involved. My son is about to be 3 and is still skittish around the “loud” tools, especially the impact drill. I can’t wait till he can help out around the shop like your boys are doing. Although I know your edits don’t show everything, I have to applaud the efforts you and your wife have made in raising some polite and well mannered young men. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for the kind words! You obviously know how tricky it can be to feel like a good parent, but I think those boys are going to turn out alright.

Thats some serious learning goin on by the eldest. Love it, reminds me of my dad and I. I have a 54 Ford NAA and have a box for the rear, no need for balast on mine as I have no front lift. I use it for the chainsaws and hauling firewood out of the woods. My father and I build it decades ago out of pressure treated 1X6.

Sounds like an awesome setup. If you build it right it'll last forever.

If you welded a cross piece to the bottom frame, you could add a receiver hitch point and attach your small trailers to use as you clear brush and debris or smaller logs that you need to take to the mill site, or even the mill to different sites. Just a thought..... I think I’ll make one with the hitch to spot trailers on my property. Thanks for the idea!
@GunflintDesigns4 жыл бұрын
That's a good idea! I have a clamp on adapter so I can move trailers around using my bucket, but that's not a convenient way to get work done!

Thanks for the video. It was nice seeing you teach your children. A lot of parents don't take the time to do that. God bless you and your family! Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, for the justification of your sin so you go to heaven instead of spending eternity in hell when you die?
