It's funny that the ASL splits apart like a tractor! I remember when you were making a go-kart out of Honda Civic. Now it's F1 pistons and engine dynos!

Have you thought about a "maximum" needle on the dyno guages, one that moves up with the normal needle but stays at the maximum figure.

Great to see you back producing videos ! I was wondering about the cube shaped oil tank and wether that was contributing to your problem with oil vapour. It could be excessive blow-by especially if you are running really high boost. But The external oil tank on the dry sump system may just need a swirl induced to better separate the oil and air. Most OEM dry sump tanks are vertical cylinders with baffling built in. Good luck with the time attack!

I'm not sure if someone pointed this out. That AE 86 is very cool! Of course the vehicle will be an excellent drift platform. I'm not sure how much experience Lil Yu has, and the vehicle has very nice tires. But those tires have high cost, and they will provide lots of smoke, but take more HP to break loose. With those tires you can drift at higher speeds. I do not drift, but I think if one doesn't have a lot of experience, one should use a back tire that is of harder compound, less smoke, but will take less HP to break loose.

Probably would have advised new wheel bearings considering how old some stuff looked.

@sigmaprojects2 жыл бұрын
they use double tapered bearings on these generations of Toyotas, they're incredibly durable. I would only change them if they are showing signs of wear.
@c0c0asauce2 жыл бұрын
@@sigmaprojects I would prefer to change them before they show signs lol.
@sigmaprojects2 жыл бұрын
@@c0c0asauce why? You're just throwing away money. When servicing the hubs you check them, grease and reassemble. The effort to replace wheel bearings on the front spindle is incredible easy. So if they start showing signs of wear, like getting noisy you can easily check and if they're worn then replace them. It's not like doing the rear axles where it requires tons of work. Front spindles is just removing the brake caliper and spindle nut, that's it. Then it comes off. if it was any other bearing that requires a ton of work to get to then 100% I would say replace it, but these tapered bearings last for an eternity. The way they did the bearings on these older Toyota is like how most do it for trucks with a lot of surface area and double bearings. Unlike some other passenger car bearings where they're sealed ball bearings and are pain sometimes to replace.

I just don't understand why if you have a two post lift you have her reaching as high as she can to work on the front rotors. Lower the car down to make it easier to work on, that's the point of having that lift, isn't it?

I get the impression maybe , she wants to take him back to The Tokyo factory to exploit his genius ! Who is this guy ? What an interesting Love Story . But of course many , in fact most relationships fail . Maybe 1 in 20 maybe will work out , and when folks are from different tribes it might take longer . China and India are close . Is this guy from India ? Maybe they have withdrawn from KZbin as, they wanted some privacy to explore new partners . Of course it's embarrassing going on dates when in my experience , so few work out !
