Dude this was great. Im about to clean my valve covers too. If I had any raised letters on them, like yours do with "AMG", I'd paint them a contrasting colour, like maybe a black or a blue or even whatever colour the car's trim is. I'd maybe even either spray the heads of the bolts that secure the valve covers in place the same as that contrasting colour.

Would this kit work on a M273 engine from a 2008 E550?

Thanks for the video. Question, why is your compression ring so far from the piston top? You would gain more performance if you can get the compression ring as close to the top of piston as possible.

Strange, I have a R320 CDI 2007, not a bluetec, since 2010 until now 2024, and it's working perfectly, not had one single problem with the car. But I have heard that you should avoid bluetec to all costs.

So sorry for everythingyou've gone through. This video is now 4 yrs old so I hope you were able to resolve issues with this car. I bought a 2006 r350 less than a year ago and at first it was the perfect car but within a couple months all sorts of things started showing: ABS/EPS, sensors, coolant, you name it. Now a camshaft issue which I've been told will cost me $3k-$5k to fix. I love the car, my 1st European car but this has been so discouraging.
