Very nice job. It's great that Steeldive is doing an affordable SKX clone since modding any pukka Seiko SKX now it's been discontinued is criminal. The only change I would make is to swap to a less-lumed ceramic bezel insert, perhaps a 12 hour dual for dual-time function rather than a diver's countdown. The bracelet was an absolute bargain, schweet!

I've had a go at replacing hands and im just to clumsy. I can remove them no prob but putting them on is sooooo frustrating for me and my ham fists.

From the preview you posted yesterday I thought the hands looked too short but it's just the lumed bits, they actually look great, really well done, a vast improvement. I'd prefer fitted end links on the bracelet but that's just me.

I know that you can't change the Bezel and the insert are different, only dial, chapter Ring, hands and bracelet can be changed ( as well as the movement of course

Bezels can't be popped off, they Have a retaining spring that gets damaged and a rachet spring . So it's not like an skx , more like a vostok or Invicta type bezel.

The chapter rings are not the same width as the skx007, the chapter ring on a steeldive is bigger at the top, adding a chapter ring from skx007 leaves a big gap

Your channel is clearly going to become a little expensive for me! Today I put together a Steeldive Turtle as hi lighted by you tother day (still available SdUK with rubber strap for an amazing £95 with your code) with the Watchgecko Sheldon recommended here and I've ended up with 183 grams of hefty excellence. That's 26 grams heavier than a Pagani Hulk and yet it ends up more comfortable to wear because the weight is more evenly distributed around my wrist. I guess your result here is much the same. And the supplied rubber strap is pretty nifty in any case so that's a keeper too. Anyway, loving your inspiring channel as it's just what I have been looking for. Much more modding to come for me as a result. Many thanks!

They do fit, but date wheel alignment is something I'm not sure of yet. The sxk has a 7s26 movement. These steeldive have nh35.
