吸気管長がものすごく短いって由良さんが言ってたけど吸気音が大きいのはそれが理由っぽいね 普通のクルマはわざと吸気管の長さを長くして吸気音を抑えている。その代わり吸気抵抗は増えるらしいけどね

当時は大富豪がいくらでも払ってやるといっても購入できる車両ではなかった 辞書のようなアンケートのこたえて購入資格審査をパスした人が購入できた。 また購入できても自分の好きな色を選ぶことができず メーカーがオーナーを見てその人から受けたイメージに会う色をきめるから 嫌いな色でもその色の車両を購入するしかなかった。 到底自分のような貧乏人には手が出せないけど、出せないからこそ憧れる。

This was meant to be a roadcar first and foremost so calling it “super hardcore” isn’t an accurate description-respectfully. Gordon Murray’s philosophy was basically purity, making sure everything was engineered well and without unnecessary weight

BEST MOTORING, still the best in 2024. That is where the shifter needs to be located in relation to the driver in EVERY manual transmission vehicle. Gordon Murray did some great work on this masterpiece. I never realized the massive bore sizes of the drill holes on the rotors.

BMW製V12で市販ロードゴーイングレーシングカーだし¥1億だし 当然っちゃ当然… むしろ凄かったのは 開発コンセプトだけに 当時なのに 乗り心地の妥協が無く良かった事 ファミリーカーとして使える様に3座であった事 今でもマクラーレンは 現行車種でも乗り心地が良くなるモードに入れてコンフォートモードをセレクトすると ロールスロイスより乗り心地が良くなります。
