Man... I just wanna tell you that, I have been very depressed for the past two years after getting clean from a pain killer addiction resulting from shattering my left femur in a car accident way back in 2006. Clean from the junk for 4 years now. But still have severe depression and Things have been pretty bad. But, halfway through the video where you stopped and just had to say that you were happy to be alive and that we should be too and stuff.... Well.... It made me almost instantly weep. Started crying like a baby. But it wasn't my normal sad, depression tears.... It was different. It was good. Thank you for all that you do friend. Really.

Downloaded it and started sampling UK drum n bass admittedly from my phone but there are alot of dirty artifacts and it's not as good as I was hoping , will it get better , is it going to get better/ updated or is it as good as it gets , I have had some luck but not lots. Hey quick tip for more insert space for effects, you can go on setting, general, and under main output it should say vintage mode set to none. You can turn your mpc into mpc 3000, mpc 60, sp1200, sp1200 ring mode just so u don't have to use insert space.

Now I have to decide which of my MPCs to install it on because you can buy plug-ins and multiple pieces of hardware from Akai, but you are limited to installing your plugins on gear that you've paid for. This is how Akai takes care of their loyalist. I'm done spending money on Akai gear until they fix this

I’m glad they dropped it for standalone. Hopefully they continue to patch the Ai to improve intuitiveness, because it has so much trouble distinguishing transients, especially when vocals are flattened in the melodies etc. With the weird artifacts it creates, it makes most samples unusable. Only hope is to bury the stem under distortion/sat to make the artifacts sounds musical. But hey..I guess we can’t complain too much lol 🤷🏻‍♂️

i can live with making stems on the mac. I would rather love to see the BLEASS Arpeggiator for the MPC or something as good. And more Midi Mangling tools which let you make variations of midi files. What also would be nice is the groove extractor from ableton. So i could throw in audio of some famous drummer for example, they get analyzed and i can then use that groove for my beats. Oh: and i would LOVE to see the STOLPERBEATS J DILLA Eurorack Module ported to the MPC ! (and btw stems for the mac is really good. As is Delay Pro and Flavor Pro!)

It sounds decent with my records. Not the greatest but usable for the music I’m trying to make which leans more towards late 80’s-90’s boom bap. If you want a squeaky clean, modern sound, they might require a good amount of tweaking to clean a lot of those wobbly tones out of the mix.

Hi Malo, Your videos are fantastic and I follow them a lot. I updated my mpc one's firmware to use Stems in standalone, but after completing the procedure I turned it off and everything was ok. I turned mpc one back on and it worked, but after the second restart the mpc remained stuck on the home screen. Unfortunately every Once I restart the problem remains. Do you have help for me? I have a feeling the source of the sample is key. I did a test run with an Al Green vinyl. Original print. And the drums came out pretty decent. Threw the Air Soft Clipper and they sound damn good. I have a feeling that digital sampling is having issues.
