I like to put that MPC60 “plugin” on a return track to keep my channel and pad inserts free. It also allows you to dial exactly how much you want to drive it. Might not work for everyone, just throwing that out there. (In fact I often use a couple other returns for the 3000 and 1200 ring mod - the latter is great on instruments when you keep the gain of the return high, but just route a bit of it to your melodic instruments)

Idk jack shit about volume settings. I see that you got the master volume cranked up all the way on the mpc and my dumbass was wondering is that the way it should be when connected to studio monitors? I'm still sorta new to this stuff.
