I had been putting off cleaning my kitchen cabinets for probably well over a year and did them a few days ago. It didn't take no more than 30 minutes. I used a little bit of LA totally awesome cleaner mixed with water and it worked wonders! The water was filthy! Happy cleaning, you'll thank yourself afterwards!

Both of my parents worked full time, so when the five of us each turned seven years old my mother taught us how to separate our clothes, measure the detergent and bleach, so that we would be responsible for washing, drying, folding and putting away our own clothes. My older sister did my younger brother's clothes until he turned seven and we taught him to do his own. My mother did the sheets towels, wash clothes comforters and her and my father's clothes. It taught us responsibility and to be proud of ourselves and it gave her a chance to rest. We also were assigned different areas on the house to clean every Saturday morning and wash dishes each week. When I went to college, I was the only one in my dorm who knew how to take care of myself. I taught other girls how to wash their clothes, cook for themselves and clean up after themselves, because they had no idea. Learning things early and making it routine makes children responsible and teaches them to be self- sufficient.

Meal planning...I am currently doing it 1 week at a time But have 6 premade meals in the freezer to rotate in on hard nights. Ideally I would love to do a month at a time but like you what if sports or life happen??? I want to make a binder like you!!! Its on my longterm to do list🤷‍♀️😂 That's my current laundry system I "fold" laundry on my bed for our family but the kids clothes go in their basket and they take them to their rooms and deal with them once a week. I still keep baseball and swimming uniforms...or they get lost!! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I adore watching you clean and your house is soooo normal with kids...kids are pigs!!😂🤣😂🤣 Loved under your kitchen sink!!! I’m a mother of 12. You are an entertaining young woman. Climbing cabinets while pregnant and determined to get work done, reminds me of myself and I laugh. I’m 67 now and still “burn the candle at both ends”. My children ask me occasionally, “Are you ever going to slow down?” I answer, “When I’m dead”, and laugh.

I used to mealplan for the month and then realized I was going to the store every week anyways overspending. I just switched to planning out each week it’s perfect for produce and if you skip any meals you can just carry them into the next week 👏🏻

You absolutely amaze me with how active you are at this stage of your pregnancy! Not sure when you're due but it wouldn't surprise me if you went into labor in the middle of a cleaning project!!!😄 I had six kids and don't remember climbing upon cabinets, bending up and down so much! When I bent over and stir back up, my stomach would contract so much, I had to take a moment before carting on!!! You are a sweetheart and hilarious! Thank you for all the amazing inspiration, your friendship, and for a new dinner recipe :) About laundry - I don't know if it'll work for you, but something I started doing a few weeks ago that is making life so easy for me is washing a load a day, but it's not designated to any specific thing. It's just whatever is in every hamper in the house in the morning. When I get up, I gather it all up and throw it all in to wash on cold. Then eventually that morning (usually after taking the kids to school) I'll switch it. That's when I'll do any other specific load, like sheets, if there's time and a need. I really, really enjoy having nearly empty laundry baskets in all of our rooms lol. I just happened to do it one day, then did it again, and again, it's it's going strong because it doesn't require any brain energy lol. I've done the "one person's load per day", and that's okay, but this method just works better for me. Plus the kids (mine are 9 and 6) are much more willing to put away a few things every day than a whole basket once a week - but that could just be my kids. Anyway, I just wanted to throw that out there - another fun method for you to try!

I used to do the same when I was pregnant- not a good idea. When my 5 kids were young, there was never two days the same. I’d try to plan but more than often plans would change. Just started meal planning for the month... started with August and now have done September. Also, I have 3 girls ages 11, 9 and 7. Each week, they pick a meal that they will make. Whoever cooked does not have to clean the kitchen that night. I grocery shop once a week from the planned meals and for all the fresh produce. Also, I am not married to the planned meals. If something comes up and we don't make a meal...no big deal! Or if i need to change it the night of...that is fine too. I have been loving it and so have the girls!! ❤️

Heck, I get stuff done watching/listening to them which TBH, I probably wouldn't do otherwise! Just keeping it real HA HA!! You mentioned an Apple Watch -- here's a tip... when you need something from the grocery, Target, or Costco.... just say "Hey Siri, add ____ to my Grocery/Target/Costco list". I do this ALL the time and it's so much easier than trying to remember or writing it down. Works using the iPhone as well. 😁 I was laughing so hard when I saw you filling up that O'Cedar bucket and saying "I'm going to clean my cabinets".... I knew you were going to save yourself time/energy using the mop to clean all your cabinets.... btw, it does work! But nope, you poured it into a bowl and did it all by hand at nine months pregnant! I was like "KIM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" LOLOL. Girl, you seriously entertain me! Now, say it with me... "Hey Siri. Add wet/dry marker and small dry erase board to my Target list." Now you will have a small board to menu plan each week that you can set on your counter or hang it in your pantry. If you want to get fancy, drag out your Cricut and some vinyl. Make your own signage like your paper sheets to put on your board. ☺.

I make a list with 10 or 12 dinners and make sure I have the ingredients. Then, each night we decide, from the list, what we are having the next night. Then take out of freezer to defrost whatever necessary. I think meal planning is SO helpful. Makes things go smoother. No take out. 👍

I meal plan by the week. I also have a white board that I put the week of meals on so the kids know what's for dinner. (They always ask!). I love mulled cider! 🍎 🍏
